Please. How in the hell can this crisp, oldschool type of sound be achieved using modern DAWs? Can someone please finally show me the direction to sound design, eqing and all that shit? There is no detailed tutorial on this, I've been looking everywhere. I mean detailed. From designing kicks, snares, claps, processing them to that funked up, hard hit, through instruments, samples and entire mix. I can't even find a course for money that has producing west coast beats. Please, just show me some way to it. I watched your tutorials, my struggle is with sound processing.
And another thing. Where can I find lowrider samples like these? I have been looking for those for like 3 years now... Please don't tell me to record it myself from Impalas or sample from Dre's Intro with X's laugh :)

if you go on the blogspot link i did sample scc and bloods & crips (i know this isnt nationwide rip ridaz/damu ridas albums they have separate cds i heard those cds back to back dont remembrr hearing anything i could sample and they sampled zapp parliament pfunk stuff which is pretty much the basis of the whole mix anyway)
i didnt do the others you mention because kausion only has one album to my knowledge and couldnt find samples/vocals from them as also the reason i didnt do dazzie or bg knocc out/dresta i coulnt find vocals more than anything from them or i completely missed it if there are and i actually have their entire discographies so yeah
and another thing worth mentioning i couldnt include everything i wanted cause i was tempo restricted it would have been too fast or too slow
