Omg the lamps are absolutely gorgeous, especially the first one you showed us, especially for a @$1.00! Fell in love with the fabric and leather armchair. The French provential bedroom set definitely looked like the set I had when growing up. It had also came with a twin trundle bed and a desk with a bookshelf unit that for on top of it. I had a purple shag carpet, since I was a huge crush on Donny Osmond and his favourite colour was purple! lol! Oh my goodness, I loved the art deco vanities, absolutely stunning! I too, like the aged look! As I said in one of your past vlogs, I inherited the same dining room chairs with the needlepoint seat. It came six chairs, two arm chairs and four regular. It’s amazing the Frigidaire refrigerator still works after all these years, it goes to show they made things built to last back then! I know older appliances are making a comeback. My mom collected a few Princess house water glasses. My favourite piece was the vintage art deco vanities with the mirror.

Oh wow, now that was a huge and very fancy cabinet. You would need a huge room to put it because it would overwhelm most dining rooms in a regular house 😮, fantabulous. Love those dishes, love the pink flowers. I can’t believe that refrigerator was still working. When My oldest daughter got married they were given an old Maytag washer and it lasted a long time for them. It finally wore it, enter modern miracle washer that they had nothing but trouble with it. We had to get a new refrigerator and it’s all ready broken down 3 in a years time. 😢. We gotta just keep hitting these Restores and drooling over old dishes and old furniture.😅.😊❤

You only find furniture in Antique shops in California like the ones you have in a thrift store. The prices in this video are exceptionally affordable! That magnificent one today was amazing! The design on the front resembles exactly a rosewood piano we bought for our daughter that had her birthdate only 100 years ago, July 9, 1878 hers is July 9, 1978. So maybe that piece was from the 1800’s.

My bed head board and frame was only 3/4 bed, if you know about that. My sisters bed was a 3/4 bed too. Hi Kelly! I would have bought that $85 cloth/nail head/leather front chair (1:54) if I'd been there. It was my favorite find today. And the gray loveseat right after that chair would be perfect for a big dog sofa. Don't get me started on that old hutch you liked. It looked like it came right out of an old historical haunted house. It was pretty, but I'll pass. 👻 I don't want to take any chances.
The "Narnia" cabinet that you liked so well seemed to have a number of tiny worm holes, indicating wood rot. While 1960s pieces often added those marks to add the appearance of age, in older items they can be a genuine issue with the stability and health of the piece.

Kelly, I grew up with the same French Provential furniture, had a matching desk, with a bookshelf that fit over the top of my desk, single trundle bed, bed side table and a dresser. You only find furniture in Antique shops in California like the ones you have in a thrift store. The prices in this video are exceptionally affordable! That magnificent one today was amazing! The design on the front resembles exactly a rosewood piano we bought for our daughter that had her birthdate only 100 years ago, July 9, 1878 hers is July 9, 1978. So maybe that piece was from the 1800’s.

My bed head board and frame was only 3/4 bed, if you know about that. My sisters bed was a 3/4 bed too. BACK IN THE DAY, they made these kind of beds for young adults or single people 😂😂 How funny is that nowadays!

Hi Kelly! I would have bought that $85 cloth/nail head/leather front chair (1:54) if I'd been there. It was my favorite find today. And the gray loveseat right after that chair would be perfect for a big dog sofa. Don't get me started on that old hutch you liked. It looked like it came right out of an old historical haunted house. It was pretty, but I'll pass. 👻

The "Narnia" cabinet that you liked so well seemed to have a number of tiny worm holes, indicating wood rot. While 1960s pieces often added those marks to add the appearance of age, in older items they can be a genuine issue with the stability and health of the piece.

My restores prices are just insane and not in a good way. The first lamps would be at least 15 at my store the coffee table you showed would be at least 50, all pictures are 25. Its just not affordable anymore.

Kelly, I grew up with the same French Provential furniture, had a matching desk, with a bookshelf that fit over the top of my desk, single trundle bed, bed side table and a dresser. I had a purple shag pile carpet, with lavender bedspread and curtains. Bear in mind, this was the 70’s and I had the biggest crush on Donny Osmond, and well, when I found out his favourite colour was purple, I had to have purple in my decor! lol!
Absolutely loved the art deco vanities and would love the bed set! Too bad I live in England now! Can you imagine the shipping costs?! lol!
