George Cataloni also michael de plater said when the slaughter tribe comes out , there's also a free update that they are gonna be infinite shadow wars . So your fortress's can be taken again. Or can get more followers by the other uruks and Ologs attacking you . Which is awesome as well .
hunter affleck will it be like online conquest where you start the defense anytime repeatedly? Or will it be like a nemesis mission where it's timed and the defense can resolve itself?
NintendoMan640 it'll be the same as the missions I believe . If you lose, the uruks have your fortress until you get revenge as usual . I hope so. But that would be awesome if it is like a nemesis mission . It would be more realistic . You miss it and you have like 50/50 chance you lose it or keep it . I hope they do it like that .

I definitely like the idea of the outlaw tribe, because it'll have some cool, gruesome looking orcs for me to obliterate and make even more gruesome, should they cheat death.

Baranor was the worst part of the story. About as interesting as a toenail fungus. It'll be great to be bored by his lackluster personality in a new region though. Looks cool.

actually she was also true to her caracter, she fought the nazgul for hundreds of years never being able to defeat them for good, then in one second celebrimbor just gets rid of one of them and offers this power to her. of course she took the ring, was a chance of ending the stalemate, in exchange of letting talion die (a human that was not part of her mission and was going to die at the end of that anyway)

How do you know that those are the beast? They aren’t creature that are from Mordor.... but from Harad outside. Also if there are more future locations then I’ll probably reconsider.
Lord Snow If you look at the symbol for the expansion pass in the in game menus you can see a elephant with four tusks. Plus in the mounted skills livestream mdp when asked about if there would be any new beasts said that they couldn't talk about it at the moment.

Question about the game, when you aren’t in a region can the nemisis system change?
I’ve killed all warchiefs and am ready to attack fortress but want to complete missions in another region to get my level up can the overlord appoint new warchiefs etc?
Can my fortress be overthrown if I’m not there will I be notified if I’m about to be attacked?

I'm pretty sure it won't be overthrown. you can appoint war chiefs after you take it over, if you don't take it over it will make new warchiefs over time.
The only thing that will happen while you’re gone is new captains appearing. Nemesis missions that will continue if you are gone but no new ones will start. The only times you will be defending your fortress is in missions, so don’t worry about your fort being attackec

When you leave a region it adds new warchiefs. Do to a glitch your followers can dissappear but the good news is
1)they are already working on the patch.
2)you can see who replaced them and can keep using the glitch to get followers you like.

On Nemesis difficulty new warchiefs can be appointed over time and on all difficulties the orc captains fight each other and go into trials by ordeal where they can die. So you can leave a region, not come back for a while and when you get back see that some of your best captains are dead now because some graug hunts went bad
I believe if you're playing on nemesis difficulty the fortress will gain new warchiefs. And the fortress defense is a mission in the "shadow wars" so the attack can't start until you activate it.

For starters...i liked the game. It was fun...however, there was way too much hype and monolith showed way too much of the game before launch. This led to a pretty lackluster reception on my part. And all of this is coming from a huge Tolkien fan. This game would have been great if Monolith wouldn't have spoiled so much of it.

Why? You could totally build a campaign around you as Sauron taking the lands of men, then you could play as talion and celembrimbor and fight all the uruks you placed as Sauron, not to mention you could have a special summon as Sauron with the nazgul.
I feel like I sound winey, but WHO CARES ABOUT THE OTHER CHARACTERS? Most of them are blander than dirt, also why in the holy mother of ass is Calembrimbor evil? Oh sorry I forgot that he's only evil because Shelob says he's evil without realy showing us why.

She said she had a vision of Talion And Celebrimbor winning and dominating Sauron. Then Celebrimbor using him to take over middle earth and basically being another Sauron. That’s why he’s evil. But that actually does sound like a cool idea though.
HecticHero what I'm asking is for the writers to show us Calembrimbor actually doing something evil, like kill dwarfs because they can resist the corruption of the rings.
All the shame to the orcs, all the "they had their uses, they are expendable" attitude, all the brutal execution, all the "Gondor doesn't matter, we need the Palantir". So yeah, the game hinted all the traits throughout the entire playthrough, that Celebrimbor is somehow corrupted and reduced to be the evil just like Sauron. I like Celebrimbor though, both the game's version and Tolkien's version.
Pretty much whatever they do with this game people will bitch about it while they play their other MT filled games
they should keep on adding to this game rather then making a new game, like more tribes/regions, maybe be able to go back to Udun

This game deserves GOTY, Its extremely fun and (despite what some no-lives are saying) a big improvement and ALOT longer than the first game, it's going to take a while get over this one. However I feel like some people are ruining it all with their BS and bias, I saw one guy who said it was a waist of money because it only added one tiny region I mean seriously way to kill the fun. I wish people would stop whining about the micro-transactions, it does not make the game pay to win because you can get gold in-game by killing orcs and if the game was *so easy* as you say then you should be able to get gold far easier than working for money don't you think?

I predicted while playing the main story campaign that the female Wraith Hunter would get her own playable DLC as a politically correct way of compensating for 99.9% of the characters being male. The thing I find amusing about my prediction isn't that it was correct. But that my prediction was based entirely on assuming politically correct motivations and literally the only other playable DLC character is the black guy who no one cares about or for one moment thought it would be fun to play as because he has no powers of any kind and the game's greatest appeal is the branding ability.
I'm not too annoyed because it's just DLC. But I don't think that particular DLC came about because someone thought it would be fun.
I was hoping the story expansions would be intergrated into the world. I adore shadow of war and Shadow of Mordor and I want more of everything. More uruks more tallion more branding more skills more monsters! More more more lol

I have had a lot of ideas about how they could continue the franchise. They should make a new game called either Shadow Of Doom or Shadow Of Middle-Earth where you play as an orc (one that you get to design). this would take place sometime after the events of Return Of The King. The main premise would be, Zog the Eternal, who has been surviving for hundreds of years, is still alive and for some reason (don't know why yet) he raises the soul, or Wraith of Talion from death. Talion is now like Celebrimbor was, but green. Talion then bonds with the orc and the two try to find zog, who has raised an army of undead and orcs, and is trying to bring about the return of Morgoth. Is this a good idea? It would still be the nemesis system, but would greatly improve on all of the qualities of shadow of war. It would even have an orc customization thing.

A White Male I don't think it will be that good to play as Baranor as he is a normal human and has none of the wraith or nazghul powers and cannot dominate orcs. Otherwise the expansion sounds really fun as it gives us a new desert region and will have the mumakil added with it which will be awesome to ride into a fortress siege.

the only way shadow wars becomes a real grind is if you just bum rush on the story and don't do other parts of the game
shadow wars can be done in 2-5 hours easy its literally the shortest part of the game
meh it didn't seem like a grind at all I didn't like defending that much but it wasn't anything like a grind at all.

I play mmo's so a 2-5 hour grind(which it really wasn't) doesn't do anything for me as compared to the 1000 hour grind of an mmo
I even used the low level orcs in the sieges against level 40's and 50's they did just fine

for me all betrayals bugged i get the uruk name who betrayed me and the camera focus on something else, never the uruk ..and after the cutscene done ..i find the uruk didn't betray me ... happened like 5 times .
Hope there Next DLC future next year alter May 2018. I'm want Witch King Story Campaigns play, new region I want the Battle Minas Tirith to explore, two new Tribes again my thoughts new tribes want Angmar Tribes and Isengard Tribes. And I like new gears want Elf gears and maybe Nazgul gears, and finally need new lvl up again so can get other skill unlock.
I hope in the Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion we can summon elven bodyguards, captains and commanders! And for the skins I hope we also get a Sauron skin who can change between fair and evil form Sauron. That'd be sooo awesome!

Throughout my playthrough I have yet to find a butcher orc that wears the apron and stuff like some orcs did in Shadow of Mordor. Now you have to pay money for the damn apron orcs.
My only problem is why tf did they put all these regions on the map if you can't go to them? Waste of time I'd say.

I think you should do something about levelling overlords. My warchiefs in Nurnen are on 32lvl while my overlord is 24 and I can't level him up.
DinoNerd you have to demote them all to captains and then send them on missions or the fight pits. It's soooo tedious when you gotta level them up from around 20-45. It is cool seeing the new things they get every 10 levels though. A good alternative if you don't like your orcs that much is to let them die during siege defense, and lose on purpose. The orcs that take the fort will be high level for you to convert
But I heard they can betray you when you demote them
DinoNerd if you promote them back after you level them up you should be good. It worked for me with all the warchiefs and the overlord
I demoted my overlord, sent him on a pitfight, he died to a captain 9 levels lower. :|

On another note the Slaughter tribe literally decorate their fortresses with their enemies guts, then they must seriously STINK like rotten meat or worse, if their Uruks won't kill you, their stench will.
Talion must ask himself:
"Well we did it Wraith, the Overlord lays dead, and another fortress belongs to-*smells the air of the Slaughter tribe fortress * Oh for the love of Gondor! Um, are we sure we even WANT this fortress?

For a good while all I expect to see is first. Anyway anyone watching the video likely has the game so micro transactions negativity won’t be seen in most cases. These are people looking forward to the expansions. Plus its not like WB pulled a dick move and released paid dlc outside of the expansions to get more money out of those that got gold.

Really? Cut content tribes and some shitty story? You call these expansions? A good expansion would be making the region of Gondor up to Minas Tirith or at least Osgiliath explorable, and allowing that region of Mordor where the Towers fortress explorable. I agree that the nemesis tribes are just cut content and should've been included, that is true, but the 2 story DLCs are definitely not cut content, one has you playing as Eltariel as she hunts the Nazgul and the other has you playing as an ordinary human in a completely new desert region and hire human mercenaries instead of orcs with, of course, rogue-like playstyle since he is just a human with no magic-like celebrimbor to save him from death, that's pretty big if you ask me.
Some of us aren't stupid enough to support the industry's malpractices, I guess. :)

hmmm, because if we play as the characters this game is actually based on like Talion and Celebrimbor they're much too white despite one being an elf and we need to have a female elf and a black man because Tolkien can't roll in his grave much harder.

Talion and celebrimbors stories are done, they aren't a thing now, and there is no prequel to be made of them
They don't give two shits about continuity. Did you play Shadow of Mordors DLC? They just threw the plot out the window and went "You get to kill some uruks on graugs with a Dwarf guy!"
They have bent it before why shouldn't they again. These characters aren't different at all, they should've just been skins if people want to play as such unique characters as an African and transgender Celebrimbor.
People complain about stuff being in the main game no matter what, putting a skin on Talion, removing some of his abilities and adding a new environment is barely even a dlc.

Bought the Gold edition, never had so much regret of buying a Gold Edition game, there are so many opportunities and things they could´ve done, and yet they choose the same dull DLC can´t really call this an expansion, 7 months after release just 1 silly new Region, the story isn´t any good, couldn´t care less about Eltariel or Baranor they are so forgettable, the Nemesis Difficulty is a joke, feels the same as Shadow of Mordor, whas hoping for a harder difficulty and a few more save files, sigh Gold Edition Whoho -.-

While I agree that it is not necessary to finish the game or anything like that, it preys upon people with latent "gambling like" addictions and is just a sleazy attempt at more petty cash. And I've already finished the game several times.
Regardless they don't hurt the main game in anyway that I can see. It just perpetuates the now horrific market with more loot box nonsense. It is getting out of hand over-all. But the game is great. 10/10 Monolith. 4/10 WB.

Even raising the dead abilitu shouldn't be a problem cuz in SoM there was an ability with the excact same aura but blue. Can we have this. Maybe as an acotvator if you wear the bright lord ring (from the kelebrimbor side missions).
