writing out code by hand was how i first learned it. bruh its the best way to plan everything out. usually when im stuck i just go away from my computer and use a notebook to write stuff out its super useful and gets my eyes away from the computer
i guess im randomly asking but does someone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my login password. I would love any tips you can offer me.

you are 100% right doing things by paper is far more efficient because PC or phone is a device a digital and that's where most people get dry eyes, distracted and lazy because even if you are focus on coding it's still a electronic either some how you will wanna scroll on RUclips or TikTok cause it's so easy reachable very true bro I find this help me too, but at first I taught I was weird to code on paper lol 😂
I would love to see a video where you explain the way in which you can make a networking application to communicate between different devices. Thank you for your videos!
Could you make a video about the trials and tribulations on your path from code noob to doing it as a job? Moments where you felt defeated, like quitting, and how you powered through? I think that'd be invaluable
Hey kalle, how about making a second part and showing us what kind of softs you use daily to you know manage everything while working? since you have covered the sort of hardware part in this one, I think one with software part might be great.
@@Hallden_ it would be perfect for me in my homeoffice or to play with my switch on it :P cause i dont really need a big screen when i am playing on my switch
Writing by hand ❤ - absolutely! Problem solving/ idea storming/ planning for future study ...engages parts of brain that typing just doesn't. Old skool but golden secret 👍Plus no hiding/avoiding from thrashing out your algorithms 😋
Unbelievable vid bro. That notebook part is so true. Whenever I do competitive coding I write down a rough solution on my notebook. Saves me 90% of my debugging time, and helps me do the most difficult questions with ease
I really like the shot variety the video. also solving programming problems on paper is a fantastic idea, personally it makes me see the problem more clearly.
8:00 Nobody should underestimate the power of a pen and paper, I study computer sciences at university and that's the best advice any of my teachers ever gave me.
Notebooks are more useful for flowcharts, object mapping, and advanced database mapping. I wouldn't use it to write straight code, maybe pseudo-code, but it's useful for those large projects that need more of a top-down than bottom-up approach; projects that you'll spend way too much time debugging, more than usual.
Usually I find a pencil and 1 mm grid papers more useful than a notebook. And for a keyboard tactile feedback is my main thing to appreciate; for example ALPS or CherryMX Brown.
If you want to boot from a USB stick i recomend using Ventoy. PLace one or more isos on the stick and you get a menu of what you want to boot. And still be able to transport data!
OnePlus 6 here, keep looking for a reason for a new phone but just can't find any. 8+128 still totally sufficient and OnePlus Android just don't lag. Have been using caseless lately but glass not shattering. Good phone and so glad see someone also using it.
Interesting stuff. I like the keyboard and mobile monitor. I have been using a laptop for over 10 years but I really never used that laptop to code outside. Thats why I am now switching to a desktop PC. A desktop PC will give me more ports, more power and I can connect more screens. I use noise cancelling headphones all the time, even if people at home are around, I can see them if they come on my room so no jump scares ;)
+1 for notebook. My brain just works 10 times better if I’m using pen and paper. Also I have an external keyboard (Logitech) but it’s made for windows and I use a Mac and windows. It’s so confusing the shortcuts being different from the built in keyboard and the buttons being rearranged. Feels so nice to just use the built in keyboard instead.
the backpack after a while: one pocket laptop, one pocket cables and a mouse, one pocket adapters, one pocket batteries for the mouse, one pocket for copied papers, books and stuff like this and then an extra bag for food or clothes or whatever :)
The num pad on a keyboard sucks if you're on a desktop with a mouse because of all the movement to get to the mouse. I got a smaller mechanical keyboard with no numbers, but it still has the arrow area and it's so much nicer to have the mouse closer.
Writing on the paper, and reading from the paper always better, notes 100% useful, it's like when you write or read like this your brain works differently.
A "portable monitor" particularly useful indeed, because one laptop screen is not enough and paying twice for a mediocre portable monitor is better than buying a good non-portable monitor. I always carry around 10 portable monitors when I do my work on the train as usual

The external portable display is trash imo if it's not 2k or uhd and I am partial to touchscreen. Oled is becoming more available too so ill wait for that. Quite minimal to learn to code though so I should have no excuses 🥴
Hey man, been watching for a while, love your content, just one question. I have been thinking about building a custom 65% keyboard, do you miss the F1-12 keys? as that is my biggest concern (Also a programmer). Thanks, for the content
@@boxerkid13 ohh yeah, although I might feel wierd as i usually just press f5 for refresh, or f11 for full screen etc adds an extra layer, but i think its worth. Thanks :D !
I use a 65% for programming and don't mind the lack of dedicated F1-F12 keys. I would say the most important thing if you are going to get a smaller board is to get one with a programmable layout. I set my physical CapsLock as my FN key making F5 be CapsLock+5. I have also programmed in a layer that I can switch to where F1-F12 is the default on the number keys and the numbers are on the FN layer (inverting how it is normally), I switch to that mode when I need to debug something and will be stepping through many lines of code and don't want to hold FN the whole time. I have also programmed in a numpad on my FN layer so that I can type Alt codes in Windows for special characters. But the main point is, with a programmable board you can make sure to include everything you need for your workflow, and put it in a spot that is comfortable for you. My board is a Leopold FC660C with Low-Noise Topre switches and a Hasu alternate controller board that adds the programmability.
@@ekillops22 That's amazing. The PCB I had in mind is indeed programmable but would've never thought about all those ideas. All points mentioned are great and basically make the transition a breeze. Thank you for the detailed reply, I really appreciate it!
