Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been paying attention all along. I realize you’re in an original ALW production etc… but during his speech it actually hit me:

She's been hinting towards it for awhile, but I was not prepared.
I was genuinely tearing up at the speeches at the end. Theatre has been so royally messed around and critiqued during this pandemic and I cannot express the sheer joy I have that theatres are opening again! Break a leg for the rest of the shows Carrie! I’m hoping to buy tickets to see this before I go back to school in September! ❤️

I saw the show on opening night and the entire show blew me away, the staging, the costumes, the songs. To whoever going to see it next your in for a treat. Good luck with the rest of the show and can’t wait to see it again

I was lucky enough to be there opening night and still cannot get over how utterly amazing the show was. Already planning a second trip. You and the whole cast were incredible!

There's nothing like those first notes of the overture hitting as you wait in the theater for a show to start! I'm so it's just as thrilling backstage! Congrats on opening!!!
It makes my little gothy heart happy seeing a darker version of a princess! I must say Carrie your eye makeup and lipstick is gorgeous (I may actually try giving cinder's makeup look a go as a casual goth look!) The trick with any dark eye makeup is the more the better and the messier the better! Xxx ♡
I was there the opening night !! I cried during the opening speeches and then when you sang “I know I have a heart”. ( that song hits differently when you’ve been through a breakup ) It was so magical and I was thankful that I could attend . Thank you so much to all the cast and crew for putting on this show despite the difficult circumstances !! Whenever I leave a musical , i feel like dreams have no limits and this musical was no exception to that feeling !!
Watching Carrie’s videos and career throughout the last couple of years has really made me want to work in the theatre world. But I have no talent to be on stage acting and singing, and because I’ve been to Uni I don’t qualify for any apprenticeships for backstage jobs 🙃🙃
So I will live vicariously through Carrie! 😂
Not sure what’s available in your area of course, but community theater is ALWAYS looking for volunteers!! Especially if you want to help with stage crew. Look into it, you might love it!!

i'm so excited and yet so gutted -- when the play with carrie was first announced i was so DETERMINED i would make it to the opening night (or one of the first nights, anyway), make it my one big holiday for the year. and now i can't even get into the country :(

THEATRE IS BACK! It's so weird saying I miss something I've never even experienced -- I discovered musical theatre right before lockdown and I've never seen a show but just that Act 1 beginners call gave me literal chills. Theatre is home for so many people. Sending so much love

Having been there on opening night, it’s really cool to see some of what was happening behind the scenes! You all did so wonderfully and can be really proud of yourselves for putting on a fantastic show 💛

In my home town we call our opening night presents Chookas presents. We also say Chookas instead of good luck or break a leg! I thought this was an Australian thing, but then recently did a show where I now live (still in Australia) and no one knew what I was on about.
The opening music played at the end sounds soooo good!!
I can’t wait to see this next month. I saw Hairspray on Friday night and I cried because of being back in a theatre again. I can’t imagine the applause you got on your opening night but I’m sure you all deserved it 🥰

I didn’t know that the film Dumpling was also a book, will defo have to add that onto my to be read pile! Heard lots of people say how amazing Cinderella was so I’m so excited to come and see it! Was emotional just to hear the opening music and audience clapping, I bet all the cast were a mess afterwards😂💗
I didn’t either but I’m enjoying Pumpkin so I’m gonna have to go back and read the others! It was certainly and emotional night but so pleased we’re back! ❤️

I went to London on the Friday and came back the Monday and the firstborn place we went was the outside of this theatre and I cried in the street of pure joy 💜

Im 16 and my dream in the future is to become a stage actress in musical theatre and hopefully have even half of the career you have had so far, you are an inspiration for theatre lovers in these unpredictable times. It brings me so much joy to see a show finally opening to some extent. I unfortunately won't be able to make it to see cinderella (or anything else in London for that matter) for the moment so your content is so enlightening. Love you carrie, you'll smash it. Xx

I'm finally seeing it on Thursday!! I bought my ticket the second they went on sale, to cheer myself up after realising I'd be graduating with a drama degree into a pandemic. Cinderella will be the first show I see post-lockdown and... Honestly I get emotional thinking about seeing it I have no idea how any of you are doing it!!
Two weeks after seeing the show, I'll also finally be having something resembling a graduation ceremony. It's outside and much smaller than it should be and of course, a year late. But it's starting to feel like everything that should've happend after 3 years of tireless work at uni is FINALLY happening ❤️
back in april i did anastasia at my high school. it was my first live performance in a year. the entire night was so surreal, hearing the clapping and laughing of the audience. it really got me emotional. live theatre is truly a gift. i so wish i could come to the uk to see cinderella! break a leg carrie! i’ve been watching you for almost 3 years and you bring me so much joy!!

To be away from home on the other side of the world, where Thailand is struggling with its third wave. That overture and seeing you in character made me cry happy tears. I'm so happy that this is going ahead, and you're already iconic Carrie. This just cements how more iconic you are. Break a leg!

Came and Watched the show last night and it was INCREDIBLE! Everyone was stunning. The staging was one of a kind and just magical. The solos were breathtaking and so emotional. Easily the best performance I have ever been too. Carrie you were utterly incredible!! ❤️❤️
I can’t get over Cinderella last night. Even after listening to the songs countless times, I wasn’t ready to hear them live. Sounded completely different to the recordings you took my breath away. I was emotional mess by the end 🥲

You look so good as a brunette. Also, yes that misunderstood black is also my best black too! The white and the black in that pallet was very pigmented. I can't get my blacks as dark as that one can

I live in the US and Playhouse Square in Cleveland just opened for their first shows (The Choir of Man) and I was so happy to get in! They're at 20% capacity so it was really strange but also lovely.

I was lucky enough to see Cinderella and I just wanted to say how amazing it was! It was so lovely to be back in the west end but Carrie was absolutely incredible (as was everyone else!). Go see it if you can!
Legit got so emotional at the end of this video... The whole theatre community has been treated like dirt throughout this whole ordeal so to see it come back fighting and stronger than ever is just so inspiring and warms the heart right up. The show must and will always go on🥰❤️
I'm moving to London next month for the first time ever and I'm BEYOND terrified - have planned to buy tickets to see Cinderella with my mum on her first trip to the Big Smoke to come visit me so I have something to counteract my nerves about the move! :)
