At going further with its continuity up to when John reluctantly sends Kyle back and later is killed by the T-800 from Terminator 3 before Catherine reprograms it (really leaning into the tragedy and drama of John and Kyle's relationship and John's knowledge that he is going to die and considering ways to avoid it, but ultimately choosing to meet his "fate" on his own terms), creatively speaking, would have allowed the series to end naturally instead of being artificially extended beyond its life span with diminishing profits and audience appeal.
Think ended pretty good, mistake was, killing Marcus, should paved way for trilogy, even with ending have , my question lol, what if they do completely win, how do they send Reese back??
No. I always hated the John Connor dies angle. I'm glad they changed Salvations ending. Too bad it didn't matter because we got Genisys and Dark Fate anyways.
Had they stayed the course with Salvation and had it be a full circle ending with John being killed by the T-800 from Terminator 3 (perhaps with John being tempted to avoid this fate but choosing it anyway to ensure events stayed intact), it could have worked, ended this franchise in a full circle moment on the sacrifices John made to preserve humanity. But instead, they basically turned it from a time loop story to a multiverse one with Genysis and Dark Fate's attempts to simultaneously pander to nostalgia and failure to truly innovate on the franchise's formula in a way that served its narrative organically.
Don't forget Terminator resistance. Great game. You can tell the people who made it are huge fans of the series and the game pretty much tells you Terminator 1 and 2 happened and the ones after 2 never did lmao
Do you know the entire budget per season would have went to pay Christian Bale for 1 episode. Lol. Thats why they always recast. Film actors paychecks. The budget woudnt be able to afford them. But i love the idea of a salvation series.
In Salvation we got to see how Durable a T - 800 really is.. It was saturated in molten steel , and then frozen and it did not stop. A T-1000 would've been done..
There's a moment in T3 where Arnold and Kristanna Loken are fighting through the washrooms and in the middle of the fight, there is a quick moment where the TX turns to check how she looks in the mirror. It's a subtle nod showing a bit of her feminine attributes that i always thought was funny and clever. Saw Salvation in the theater and overall enjoyed it. It looked great and had some very cool action set pieces. I never understood the negativity around it even if the story was uneven.
I know, right? T3 has a special place in my cold black heart. Same with Salvation, I remember watching that movie in theaters during "family day" weekend after basic training. I knew nothing about it, and we(my battle buddies and i) decided to watch it. Good times
@@rapierwhip i understand the tonal shift. The first film was pretty dark and gritty sci-fi and the second was more action sci-fi but there were comedic moments. The third film leaned more into the comedy moments but it wasn't a laugh a minute caper. I still enjoyed T3 even if it wasn't as serious tonally. Evil Dead (1981) and Army of Darkness (1992) are very different too. For me, one doesn't diminish what the other was doing
@@borislugosi54 I understand your view, Though Evil Dead (which i also loved the whole lot of them.) were all Horror Comedy at their core. There was no humour at all in T1 (except realistic in character humour) and in T2 the humour was also in character. But in T3 the change in humour was too much in my view which didn't suit the same intended audience of the first two movies. it was a humour that took from the character rather than added to it. for example 'Talk to the Hand' went over board because the terminator kills to get clothes he doesn't do 'tasks'. This takes from the terror of the T800. I don't know that if someone began the movies with T3 the went back to T1 they might have a different view.
@@rapierwhip your argument is valid, it is hard to take the third film seriously, especially within the context of the first film. As much as i love Army of Darkness as it's own movie, it is also my least favorite within the trilogy because it gets way too silly at times. And yeah , some (probably more than some) of the "jokes" in T3 just do not land and should have been cut.
The message I got from Sara Conner Chronicals is John Conner was like Dread Pirate Roberts. It was a role, not a person. John Henry was actually John Conner doing all the work. Skynet though John Conner was a real person but he was really a figure head.
You should do a Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles video as soon as possible that show is amazing and it ended far too soon because of a stupid writer strike
I really like your take on a different Salvation ending. I would have liked Marcus to have this undevoted pledge to do anything for the chick who helped him at the beginning, because she basically gave him a new life, so now he feels indebted to her and tells her something like "I will always owe you after this/whatever you need me for, I am here" or something like that. And then the movie starts to build the trust with John and Marcus and when the chick comes back, instead, of her convincing him that John = evil and Skynet = good, Marcus/John's newfound trust is challenged because Marcus is torn between the two people who gave him a second chance at life and whom he himself believes owes both of them. Anyways, looking forward to your Sarah Connor Chronicles video, it better be like 2 hour + ranting of how it deserved a S3.
I was thinking of Marcus's heart when giving to John. It had nano tech in it and convert John. I think your story is better. We had a perfect Flo and throw it away in Dark Fate. She could've been in Terminator vs Robocop. That movie would be insane, were Robocop works for Skynet.
Due to the time paradox there is no original timeline in my opinion. Otherwise it would mean John Connor's dad was just some normal dude and for some reason John Connor was motivated to become the leader of the resistance. The true timeline now is the timeline where John Connor's dad is someone from the future, having motivation to save the world and destroy Skynet. Because of this skynet actually needs John alive to exist to begin with. The future tech was reverse engineered in the past, also skynet only became self-aware in terminator 3 due to the future terminator hacking the system, it never became self-aware on its own. This could explain why the terminators are always throwing John Connor around and acting like they want him dead when in reality is all going according to plan... Imagine if we eventually find out a twist or something like the terminatos being sent to kill John was actually John himself to begin with. He knows that is impossible to prevent skynet, it's only possible to destroy it in the future, since trying to destroy it actually causes it to become something else... Because of this, he must ensure skynet gets created so he's able to destroy it and can identify it being the enemy... As trying to change the past might make it turn into an even formidable enemy in the future.
@@reginalferguson3664, Both Interstellar and Tenet. Both those movies had the blueprint of making a conclusion for Terminator that turns the franchise into a closed loop of events that create each other.....until Terminator Genysis and Dark Fate disrupted this looped story structure and made the continuity of Terminator a multiverse instead, Whereas before the loop needed to be maintained because versions of these specific events were what led to Skynet's destruction in the future and deviation could mean it's victory, now any number of disruptions can happen to make all new events take their place. Basically, Terminator Salvation's continuity should have been the one to end the series on.
@callmev3531 that's what it should have been. Humanity on the cusp of winning only to be ultimately defeated by Skynet and altered events caused it to win the future instead of losing but then either T-800 or Reece should be shown trying to get the Time Conveyor back Online to undo what skynet did like BTTF(1954 DeLorean) and set the timelines right to reconverge into the mainstream B4 T2 to show that yes No Fa8e is true. Judgement Day still occurs but adjusted due to T2 ending therefore setting up new possibilities (Though I still discount T3/TX issue) but doc Helena twisting Marcus to her bidding like Palpatine to anakin....perfect untill he see the truth that he was used and helps humanity take back its future by being the 1st Human-Terminator hybrid to fight for us....which gives Connor and others the idea to capture T-800 to become a protector. Fight fire w fire
1:55 I think they came pretty close in Terminator the saracana Chronicles with the t 1001 I believe it was who was actually good I believe and had almost like sentence of her own like her own conscious she was able to form shields out of herself which protected people behind her and all this other cool stuff
Pretty interesting ideas for savation, could of been really good, with regards to dark fart, I really wanted that little girl to take John Conners name, and then each time skynet killed him, someone else took the name, so skynet was going crazy thinking they couldnt kill him off, that way, it would lead them to the time travel shenanigans.
I think this movie really focused on the concept of free will and destiny. Might be an overused theme, but following Marcus and Johns journeys separately until they meet and Marcus' origins are revealed show two men honestly just trying to survive. And the third act focuses on their individual choices to disobey orders and do what they believe to be the right decision. I think it also showcases that AI and human consciousness are different intelligences, because even with the chip, Marcus was able to overwrite his programming to save John.
Which is why this story works well as is and why Marcus was a good inclusion to the series despite being the most removed from the other characters besides the fact that he's the first actual cyborg in the franchise (Terminators are really just androids coated in artificial tissues). Had this continuity been followed and this theme of choice been followed, this franchise could have ended more gracefully, like exploring the tragedy of John's relationship with Kyle or his own eventual death when facing the T-800 from Terminator 3 despite having not just a wife that will lose her husband, but children to care for that will lose their father. Just like Salvation showed how John inspired and rallied humanity while other movies only talked about it, sequels could have showed these events we the audience know have to happen in order for the rest of the series to not be changed in unpredictable ways, show the temptation to change them, for John to struggle with sending Kyle despite having befriended him, for Catherine to have to resist smashing the T-800 that kills John to bits for killing him, knowing she has to reprogram and send it back to protect herself and John in the past. It all could have made for some very interesting drama involving the difference between option and choice, that people may not have infinite opportunities, but still have the choices to take what chances they can in their limited circumstances.
I was satisfied with the Salvation adaptions story ending by Dark Horse Comic, Terminator: Salvation - The Final Battle. They complete the story line, some cool twists and a very satisfying ending.
Awesome video and honestly Anton Yelchin is one of the best things about this film in my opinion. He was convincing to me as a younger version of Michael Biehn's character from the original.
Terminator Salvation is the only worthy true sequel to the Terminator franchise in my honest opinion it was new all the other so-called sequels where just the same unfortunately. Other than that a great video keep up the great work and Happy New Year🎉🎉🎉 to you and your family let's hope that 2025 will be a great and awesome year?😊 And greetings from the Netherlands🇳🇱
They should have completed a salvation trilogy ending in 1 or 2 ways 1. Sending Kyle reese back in time essentially bringing everything full circle 2. Beating skynet completely before they could send a Terminator back Ending the cycle and not sending anyone back....but this option would mean john connor may or may not be born
You said it best about Genysis. It's just there, it does not do anything special or offensive to its audience, it just exists. It's one of those movies that is very forgettable, yet on a rewatch after years it all comes back to you in an instant. There's something special to be said about movies like that. They deserve their own category of praise.
Yo I watched this a few day's ago. Came back for a second helping. No "glazin'" but you come up with some (I have to say subjectively) you create really good ideas. I only saw '10 Clover Feild Lane' but your video about the 3 alone made sense and was a cool, unique story. This idea, again imo is sick brother. My bad, put i passed it off to my mates, as my own idea. I'm not proud... apologise. 🙏
You _said it!_ You said my biggest gripe about Salvation! Marcus Wright _literally, fucking stole this movie!_ I wanted John Connor vs The Machines... Marcus turned John Connor into a _supporting character._
I loved salvation growing up cuz I played the videogame and to me it felt like a grounded, gritty, and depressing apocalypse. John felt like a light in the dark.
I think the worst crime the last few terminators made was not living up to expectations. We are dealing with a movie where time travel is a main theme. The idea of killing off old timelines and replacing them is acutally pretty cool. The execution could have been better.
Great points, and I really liked Salvation, even as the characters did a lot of stupid things requiring ridiculous plot armor. It'd be interesting if they played more with destiny. T2 had interesting philosophical "no fate" ideas they mostly just dropped. What if Kyle CAN'T be killed?, because it would colapse the timeline. It would have been a lot better if Marcus had to become John simply because John died, and he decided to carry on the revolution. The humans then survive because thier new JC is the lefit merging of humanity and machine
@SIPEROTH I'm usually stoned when I watch movies so I'm not paying attention to a lot of the things they're trying to push in these modern movies I just kind of shut my brain off The only time I noticed this stuff in any modern movie like that is when it's super overt Even in TV shows like the Supergirl TV show around season 3 or 4 they were pushing heavily refugee storyline about illegal aliens when there was a big thing with refugees coming into the US and a lot of illegal immigrants coming in during and just prior to the airing of the season which is exactly why they made that their storyline and it literally checked me out of the entire series I stopped watching and only started watching maybe the second half of the last season and that was it
I wish they kept all of them dark and made the T-800 terrifying like they did in the first one. One and two were the best. Salvation had potential. We need that night time war scene with plenty of humans losing then Reese gets sent back. Will it ever happen 💁🏿♂️
OMG BRO UR FUCKING BRILLANT. Having a whole 2nd Act of them working together could have had this movie up there with 1 and 2 in a lot of peoples eyes. I wish they would have done that now damn it. Could have them doing missions together with Marcus finding out info about Skynet and its doings and then finish off the way it did, brilliant. Terminator is my favorite franchise right behind Aliens/Predator and Star Wars. Been watching them since I was 4, 1/2/3 hundreds upon hundreds of times. I watched the Sarah Connor Chronicles when it aired on tv as a kid, didn’t finish it when I moved for some reason. I got back into it like 3 years ago and maaaan that show is right behind the first two movies for me. YALL WATCH IT. I just got my full Blu-ray set for first and second season this Christmas. Cameron is my favorite terminator. I don’t really care for the dark ending for Salvation that’d been waaaaay too much and I don’t really care for u ending either. I like the one we got, I much rather it just be the humans vs the machines and for it to try to stay with the original story in place. Ik Sarah Connor Chromicles did some stuff like that but I prefer Salvation to stay with the roots. As much as I love Salvation it’s probably for the best it didn’t get its Sequel Zaffy. U know what they were planning? They were planning to go BACK IN TIME, AGAIN 🤦♂️, and for it to be in Paris and some other crazy Scyfi channel bullshit, look it up it’s disappointing asf. Maybe it was for the best, but I wanna live in the Timeline where they finish the Trilogy properly. In the Future, man vs machine, John as the central figure, no bullshit. Idk if ur a gamer Zaffy but check out Terminator Resistance this is the last piece of Terminator media besides the James Cameron Terminator Ride that actually does justice to the first two films. It’s in the future and just connects the first two films perfectly. Even if u don’t play games look it up on RUclips and watch the story it’s good. Great video💪🏻
Great video is always. In my honest opinion, this is one of the best terminators since it’s the only one that talks about the subplot of John Connor winning the war, which is shown in T3. This is Sarah, Connor Chronicles, which is an amazing show. From what I’ve read the original plot for the movie was switching bale with Courtny. Bale wanted to be the star so they re-wrote him to be John and not the terminator, which is why Courtny is in the majority of the movie since that was supposed to be for their main star bale. Also, the end was supposed to be from what I’ve read Courtny does take the face of John to continue the resistance and win . But he killed everybody in the room that saw him do this, including Jon’s wife and his number two and three. This is what leads John Connor to win the war sense that hybrid terminator has all the schematics and plans for Skynet .
Honestly what I would have loved to see from 3(which is where the Sarah Conner cornices looked like it was going) was the idea that John and crew were going to be the terrorists that would try to shut Skynet down and send it on it's rampage. Other than that I don't need any plot twists, you have a closed time paradox at that point, just give me a couple of badass action movies that look like the future scenes from T1 and T2, make them scary give good action and make them NOT directly about John so that the protagonists of each film can be imperiled... or have John send back the terminator to save himself early in the last film because we know he dies before sending back the Terminator to the time frame of T3, then kill him off at some point and let his wife send back the other terminator before the climax of the film so she could die.
You want to know why I like this video? Because you are actually talking about the subject of the video I actually picked up something new off of something I liked. There is not a three to five minute boot licking from you about some goofy product that I have no relation or desire to buy and then have to sit through another almost whole minute or maybe 2 more additional minutes sponsored ad from RUclips itself jammed into it after I already heard the content creator drone on for 5 or 8 minutes about their sponsorship. You made a good video, and I can tell you were psyched, passionate about your video it made the video that much more enjoyable. This is the kind of content I remember that I used to like about RUclips.
With salvation they should of shown in the story how john conner managed to get a t800 and reprogram it to go back and protect him and in the final trilogy film it is another arnie t800 that kills him so that it ties in all 3 previous films
Because of this, Skynet actually needs John alive to exist to begin with. The future tech was reverse engineered in the past within this new original timeline, also Skynet only became self-aware in terminator 3 due to the future lady terminator hacking the system making it self aware, it never became self-aware on its own. This could explain why the Terminators are always throwing John Connor around and acting like they want him dead when in reality it's is all going according to plan, giving him the inherent motivation... Imagine if we eventually find out a twist or something, like the Terminators being sent to "kill" John was actually John himself to begin with. He knows that it is impossible to prevent Skynet, it's only possible to destroy it in the future, since trying to destroy it in the past actually causes it to become something else... Because of this, he must ensure Skynet gets created so he's able to destroy it and identify it being the enemy... As trying to change the past might make it turn into an even formidable enemy in the future like in Terminator Genisys/Dark Fate.
The way that I see it Dark Fate and Genesis is bad because they ignored the entire premise of the first three films. They are all crafted to be a time paradox, the Terminators only exist because they went back in time to kill John and failed. The machine shop where the first Terminator died was Cyberdine Systems, so their going back in time is what gave reason for Kyle to go back. I think Salvation needed to play more into the events of the three movies. John and Kyle are brothers in arms from the beginning of the movie, while showing that John is purposefully setting up missions where he gets to know his dad as much as he can. While keeping the overall plot of Salvation, where they get led into the machine shop completing the mission that Kyle talks about in the first movie before sending him back in time to save Johns mother. Keeping in mind that the movies and the TV series describe that John and Kyle tore crap up together. The second movie would need to get into how to reprogram one of the Terminators to send it back to save himself from the T-1000, and the last film is where John is killed and the last Terminator is sent back by Johns kids. All while having a secondary plot that leads them in those directions.
Another idea to throw out out there. John connor dies destroying the facility but John needs to lead the rebels to victory. So Marcus takes on John's identity and appearance to lead the rebellion.
Salvation Reece should’ve simply been a soldier who stands by Connor as all around Conner lose faith in him. Reece then gets repaid by being his most trusted confident. With the caveat that Connor will always keep some secrets due to his mums training and previous experiences
Terminator Salvation tried to show the bleak, post apocalyptic future that T1 and T2 had been building up to be, a fresh take on the series, and honestly, it should have continued from there.
Salvation deserve to have sequel , We desreve to have Salvation 2 the end of war! T1 & 2 and Salvation these are the best movies! :) That's why im so hype Terminator survivor game that will tell what happened after Judgement day. Hey your idea for the trilogy movie story is great idea!
Lena Headey is bloody good at what she does! In GOT’s, Her role as Cersei was spot on! She really makes you despise her! (Helen bonham carter is another who makes a brilliant villain!) That too me, is what defines acting ability! She’s quality! I’ve not seen the Sarah Connor Chronicles yet. So can’t say. But, I like the idea of Lena playing the Protagonist for a change! 👌🏻 [fun fact] Lena also has a huge Naughty tattoo IRL!) 😬😅
I would have done it a bit different. Helena character isn't some random doctor, but Marcus sister. Marcus was put on deathrow for killing a few people ( robbery, make it a dispeicable act). And Helena who is sick with cancer come to try to " save " her brother. When she is found "alive" in skynet , they were experimenting on making other Marcus like terminators. She convince Marcus that they aren't killing people but " upgrading them" , no more wars, killing, sickness, sadness. People will have their human minds and organs just now a body that won't age. The next evolution in humanity. And how skynet programming changed after Judgment day. It realize it want to integrate the willing. This convinces Marcus and John and him fight. Marcus loses. And John and Marcus are laying on medical table. John is get a robotic prosthetic arm/ leg , heart and eyes ( he was badly injured) making him more android like. And Marcus skin is melted off by acid . He is dipped in a solution that eats the rest of his skin away exposing the metal body and his organs. ( Like how robocop does it). His body is then dipped into a liquid metal. His sister talks how they are trying develop liquid metal skin for the T-800 but the ( input something smart). And Marcus get the liquid metal skin and he starts to change faces, landing on John . Film ends
Kyle Reese had very little to do with the movie which kind of disappointed me. Other than that, I thought it was a pretty solid movie. Salvation definitely wasn't perfect or as good as the first two, but if I had a third favorite I think it takes that spot. What could have made this movie better is if they made Kyle more fluid within the plot, maybe have a little bit more time to himself on screen to show us how he became a survivor and a soldier. But, that's just my inner fan ship sailing off. It's like, the Kyle from the first movie talks about the hardships and what he had to do to survive through them. We never get that in this movie, like you said we just get the damsel in distress situation.
It took you, what, a few hours, few days to come up with this plot point? Sounds far better than what we got. You get an ending where humanity continues with John but with considerable cost. But professional paid writers cook up the kind of story a high-school junior would.
The next movie should be where the resistance pushes skynet into a corner, skynet fights back and gains the upper hand. But while the resistance is pushing they come across older Schwarzenegger he’s (human), he’s being kept alive for fresh dna. Conner rescues him. He learned some of skynets moves while being captive. Then in the final defeat of skynet Arnold and Conner stand side by side.
I have watched quite a few of your videos and I can't say I agree with you all of the time, but you know what, I see where you come from. I can see why you like some aspects and hate other parts of movies, but sometimes I just flat out disagree with you. But my friend, I am so happy that we agree on Terminator Salvation!! I tell you man, I have so many issues with that movie but I have craved a continuation of the terminator story so much that I watch Salvation to scratch that itch. So much to the point I like it more than Terminator 3.
Even though their hasn’t been a trilogy with John Conner. Theirs a comic series Terminator salvation the final battle was a continuation and wrapped up of Terminator Salvation.
The terminator story ended for me when the credits of terminator 3 started to roll. The rest are nothing to me. The only thing cannon in the other movies are the beautiful women they cast. You're hilarious, by the way. I love your vids and opinions. Your honesty and humor are refreshing
A much as Terminator Salvation had good intentions, I still believe they should have decided to use the alternate ending of T2 where the future is fine, john is a Senator and Sarah is sitting finishing her memoirs while tying her granddaughter's shoe in the park. While Arnold and Stallone had a friendly movie rivalry going on in the 80s and 90s to see how many action movies they could make can be seen as one of the reasons why we got so many generic Rambo and Terminator movie storylines. 2008 Rambo closed off brilliantly, but the Terminator movies literally lost the plot.
I'm patiently waiting for the day when Hollywood wises up to the idea that writing a 'trilogy' without immediately committing to shoot three movies guarantees the trilogy never makes it to the second movie.
Everytime i think about how bad disney star wars is i remember how completely awful the terminator franchise is after 2. How do you fuck that up? Hollywood has no balls.
The woman, who talked Marcus into being an hybrid, she wasn't skynet, skynet used her because Marcus knew her, snd said giving a face he knows, but was just a holo image, wasn't really dr, i
Salvation honestly had so much potential.

Salvation could have been the Salvation of the Terminator franchise.
Robocop work for McDonald’s will be even more sick.
6:06 lmao, you sound like you need to change your pants after seeing her
Due to the time paradox there is no original timeline in my opinion.
Very interstellar
@@reginalferguson3664, Both Interstellar and Tenet. Both those movies had the blueprint of making a conclusion for Terminator that turns the franchise into a closed loop of events that create each other.....until Terminator Genysis and Dark Fate disrupted this looped story structure and made the continuity of Terminator a multiverse instead,
Whereas before the loop needed to be maintained because versions of these specific events were what led to Skynet's destruction in the future and deviation could mean it's victory, now any number of disruptions can happen to make all new events take their place.
Zaffy, amazing videos. I really love your honest style.
Bro, you gotta do District 9 !!
Made a vid on that
@Cinemavigilante I'll check it out. Keep going man! we're loving your work here in the UK
Salvation should of had a sequel.
I love your videos, dawg. It's so much refrained energy and enthusiasm I can't help but love it.😂 I might start wearing a BANE mask when I record.
The Terminator Salvation trailer went hard af with Nine Inch Nails blasting in the background. So good!
Your ending is 100% badass. I wish you were back in that writing room.
Other than that a great video keep up the great work and Happy New Year🎉🎉🎉 to you and your family let's hope that 2025 will be a great and awesome year?😊
And greetings from the Netherlands🇳🇱
They should have completed a salvation trilogy ending in 1 or 2 ways
1. Sending Kyle reese back in time essentially bringing everything full circle
Killing John Connor wasn't even the worst thing Dark Fate did to the character
Great points, and I really liked Salvation, even as the characters did a lot of stupid things requiring ridiculous plot armor. It'd be interesting if they played more with destiny. T2 had interesting philosophical "no fate" ideas they mostly just dropped. What if Kyle CAN'T be killed?, because it would colapse the timeline. It would have been a lot better if Marcus had to become John simply because John died, and he decided to carry on the revolution. The humans then survive because thier new JC is the lefit merging of humanity and machine
4:21 pretty sure I sailed the high seas to watch that one
I don't even bother doing that with this "modern audience" movies. Not even pirataing them is worth it.
@SIPEROTH I'm usually stoned when I watch movies so I'm not paying attention to a lot of the things they're trying to push in these modern movies I just kind of shut my brain off The only time I noticed this stuff in any modern movie like that is when it's super overt Even in TV shows like the Supergirl TV show around season 3 or 4 they were pushing heavily refugee storyline about illegal aliens when there was a big thing with refugees coming into the US and a lot of illegal immigrants coming in during and just prior to the airing of the season which is exactly why they made that their storyline and it literally checked me out of the entire series I stopped watching and only started watching maybe the second half of the last season and that was it
Not the seas best catch 😔
John Conner wasn’t supposed to be a big character in Salvation. His role was massively increased due to Bale getting the part
Is that a new background in this video? Or am I just not observant 😂
Extremely funny calling time travel shenanigans retcons 😂
You are talking straight facts in this Terminator video. I like both Terminators 3 and Salvation regardless of what other people think of them
Interesting, I like where you are going with this.
4:44 MY BOY GAVE UP A GHOST RIDER TV SERIES FOR THIS?! HE *DESERVED* BETTER!
Let’s go Zaff another great take 🙏🏾🔥
Love your vids man
“Ohhh good for you!” The Sarah Connor Chronicles is good. Unfortunately Cameron’s role is really diminished as the show goes along.
That trailer was so fire I had to pause, go watch it, and continue the video.
It seemed like many people didn't like Terminator Salvation, I actually was quite a big fan of it! I wish they could have added to this some sequels.
I wish they kept all of them dark and made the T-800 terrifying like they did in the first one. One and two were the best. Salvation had potential. We need that night time war scene with plenty of humans losing then Reese gets sent back. Will it ever happen 💁🏿♂️
The guy they got to be connor kept making me think of Chief Miles O'Brian from DS9. He looks like a very young Ensign O'Brian.
4 sec into the vid I see your face in the mask and bro I'm hooked again🙂Let's goooooo!
There would have been two john Connors, basically explaining the trick in 'The Prestige'
Can you get reservations at Dorcia?
Kyle would still have to be sent back in time to have John exist now, but ya it should still focus on the future..
Terminator 2 was one giant plot hole.
Happy to see the Sara Conner chronicles getting the love it deserves
You’re on to something with the twists.
Would be better than what we got.
The Sara Conner Chronicles is pretty good. I wish it had gotten another two seasons.
Bro we share the same brain. I am going to start a crowdfunding campaign to get you as a major consultant for every good Hollywood movie
With salvation they should of shown in the story how john conner managed to get a t800 and reprogram it to go back and protect him and in the final trilogy film it is another arnie t800 that kills him so that it ties in all 3 previous films
Salvation was an awesome movie. Absolutely loved it.
I think Genesys is a decent final movie. The retcon makes sense if you understand time only flows in one direction, and that is forward.
I liked part 3. Not more than 1 and 2, but the idea that the end happened was great. Just waiting for a savior moment, but it didn't come
No, the Rev 9 was very Terrifying lol
Salvation
Reece should’ve simply been a soldier who stands by Connor as all around Conner lose faith in him.
That's why im so hype Terminator survivor game that will tell what happened after Judgement day.
Hey your idea for the trilogy movie story is great idea!
Lena Headey is bloody good at what she does!
In GOT’s, Her role as Cersei was spot on!
She really makes you despise her!
(Helen bonham carter is another who makes a brilliant villain!)
That too me, is what defines acting ability!
She’s quality!
I’ve not seen the Sarah Connor Chronicles yet. So can’t say.
But, I like the idea of Lena playing the Protagonist for a change! 👌🏻
[fun fact] Lena also has a huge Naughty tattoo IRL!) 😬😅
For every "come with me if you want to live", I'm taking two shots till I forget the movies after the first two don't exist.
This was awesome, I do love salvation. Was disappointed it never got a sequel
It took you, what, a few hours, few days to come up with this plot point? Sounds far better than what we got. You get an ending where humanity continues with John but with considerable cost. But professional paid writers cook up the kind of story a high-school junior would.
I love it for Salvation. Love it! It's a shame that these "writers" don't rely more on true fans for ideas and possibilities.
bro your plot is too perfect. u should direct the next movie
The first two-thirds of Terminator Salvation was legitimately great, and then it went full downs and flopped the landing.
Salvation was a hidden jem for sure and I was excited to see a Terminator movie in a post apocalyptic setting they defiantly could done better
"Ooooooh good for yooou!" 😂🤣😂🤣
We're in a place where Terminator 3 isn't the worst or considered decent
A much as Terminator Salvation had good intentions, I still believe they should have decided to use the alternate ending of T2 where the future is fine, john is a Senator and Sarah is sitting finishing her memoirs while tying her granddaughter's shoe in the park. While Arnold and Stallone had a friendly movie rivalry going on in the 80s and 90s to see how many action movies they could make can be seen as one of the reasons why we got so many generic Rambo and Terminator movie storylines. 2008 Rambo closed off brilliantly, but the Terminator movies literally lost the plot.
Ah man that sarah conner chronicles was sooo good.. but the Christian bale terminator was a good story too
I like Salvation over all, it was fun. Anyways you should play the video game Terminator Resistance. Very good and made by people who LOVE the lore.
Loved salvation and love that version of yours
I'm patiently waiting for the day when Hollywood wises up to the idea that writing a 'trilogy' without immediately committing to shoot three movies guarantees the trilogy never makes it to the second movie.
Everytime i think about how bad disney star wars is i remember how completely awful the terminator franchise is after 2. How do you fuck that up? Hollywood has no balls.
The woman, who talked Marcus into being an hybrid, she wasn't skynet, skynet used her because Marcus knew her, snd said giving a face he knows, but was just a holo image, wasn't really dr, i
