    Great job well done, but I would be worried about the fall on the roof. There is no gap at the rear, for air to flow, and the rain water is being directed down the back, this will result in premature rotting, not to mention your rain water tipping into the neighbours back yard.
    How about adding guttering, tipping into a waterbutt, or just a downpipe into your yard?

    • @thediyfix
      @thediyfix  2 месяца назад +2

      There is fall on the roof and the shed has a gap of about 70mm between the wall and the back. Then the roof overhangs roughly 120mm and water runs off onto the top of the wall.
      Finally, the property is a gable end so no neighbour to worry about :)

    That’s a great job Dude. Well done. I’ve recently built a triangular shed on a big slope (to make best use of the space), and whilst you effortlessly dealt with the irregular shape and the slope, I found it a challenge. A decent shed is a great addition.

    • @thediyfix

    You're already way ahead with an established concrete base to set the shed platform on. The typical base is incredibly time-consuming and labor intensive. Nice shed, though, and I see others have commented on the roof so it must be a trick of the eye that it looks totally level.

    Hi guys great job don’t you think perhaps a little fillet of say 2 inch down to zero would have helped before you put the roof down to stop rain puddling on the roof, just a thought guys but a great job of teamwork and thinking things through 😊

    What are the measurements of the type of timer you used for the base and frame?

    • @thediyfix
      @thediyfix  2 месяца назад

      The base and roof were 4x2 (100x50mm roughly) , and the walls were 2x2 (50x50mm roughly). Every length was 2.4 meters long.

    Good work....
    Maybe I missed it but how did you create the fall for the roof?
    During the front and side panel make-ups or in the joists?

    • @thediyfix

      We did it with the side walls. There is a dedicated video to the walls here: ruclips.net/video/3OPWmGqQedQ/видео.html

    • @thediyfix
      @thediyfix  2 месяца назад +1

      Hi mate, the angle cut was simply to make use of the space in the yard which is angled. Price can be seen at the end of the video

    Check the fire insurance for the main building! When my dad wanted a shed that close it had to be asbestos! or not at all.
