this is where the show started going downhill for me, because it's simply ridiculous that they allowed themselves to miss such great inconsistencies. first it's stated that sultans and princes don't marry. when suleiman marries hurrem, valide is deeply offended, as she's strongly against such a tradition-defying practice. even in last episode, mahidevran says "princes arent allowed to marry". but now, its okay for mustafa to marry???? and his cousin too? i understand that there's an argument to be made that she's royalty and therefore it's allowed, but omg, what a horrendous writing decision just to create more drama.

Hurrem knows who did it, so why didn't she tell his majesty? As investigations should have been made as to who started the fire etc. And also as he said Any insult/incidenct etc. towards hurrem was done as if it was an act done towards himself.
