    Excelente reparación. Hay muchas personas que hubiesen botado ese rin para chatarra, pero lo reparaste y quedó perfecto y listo para seguir usando. Comparar el precio de esa reparación con lo que cuesta un rin nuevo y vale la pena.

    I have tractors from the 1935-1975 era. Most of them from 1940's. So I have several rims to fix. Thanks for showing how to do it, using
    3 diff rolls. Bottom, top, and side angle. Now, all I need to do is figure out how to home make a little, foot wide roller, to help out on the project.
    Wonder what, or where I can get the roller material. Could it be as simple as using thick pipe, to roll that thickness of steel. What gauge was that you used?

    • @trkycustoms
      @trkycustoms  Месяц назад +1

      @@janbill79 I used 10 gauge or pretty close to 1/8 of an inch and you can definitely roll it around a piece of pipe or your knee or something like that. It’s just easier to overbend the radius and then just mash it down and it will follow the contour of the wheel perfectly

    A thousand dollars is a lot of money to shell out, so how much did this job cost the owner for this repair? You've got a lot of work into this.

    I've got a Minneapolis Moline rim that is in bad shape. Pitted but no holes. Have you heard of anyone filling in the pitting? I have some fuel tank rubber liner treatment that I am thinking of using.
