I just got a couple of your albums on CD as I have a really nice special music doctor set up in my jeep and do a lot of driving for work and other. I've had much loss in my life of friends and acquaintances, so I kind of know a little about these matters.

@imchepasable Yes they borrowed stuff and evolved, from the Byrds on to The Jesus and Mary Chain to Lush and MBV, it changed and they sounded new and different, they weren't an exact pitch perfect carbon copy of what went before like this lot who are trying to sound like an 80s indie band.
yeah as lincolnscared as said... since the start of the song i 've heard a connection with some songs of the 66- 67 era of the rolling stones (before "their satanic" of course) ... and then some Stone Roses connection are veryrclear... and a few others surely... i found this very good ... i will be curious to listen to their music after 4-5 years... they have a big, precious but fragile seed between their hands...i wish them a long life ...with a young heart...or is it a young art ? :)

I agree that the video isn't all that transcendent. I do, however, feel that the video isn't terrible. I've seen enough bad videos to know the difference. The song is awesome, and I feel like this video is more background noise than some holier than thou extension of the song.
@fucketaboutit Pretty sure I am not a rich snob or a hipster and have a really varied music taste. I still like this. It is nothing amazing but it is a nice pop song. Why not accept music for what it is rather than who you think it was made for.
If someone calls you a hipster just shrug it off, if you don't you'll be sad and therefore and emo. Eventually you won't be sad and you'll just be scene, then you'll drop the hair dye and be punk...oh FFS people who cares!
