Layla released at November 18th in the second half of Genshin Impact 3.2 Update. She is Cryo support, and supposed to play in Cryo teams.
Shield is pretty strong, yeah. But what if we build her in Phys Damage?
I did this and you don't have to.

@@Haru-rs2su shield bonus isn't the only thing TotM provide because it also gives atk buff. OP must've clarified "can fully benefit" because there's other characters that benefit from TotM partially.

Layla mains are the most similar to their character since they both end up sleeping when they have to fight.
As a layla main i can confirm i have fell asleep a total of three times during a boss fight

Layla is the perfect character for me. Cryo, interesting design, shield, scales with hp, has compatibility to be a dps, and since all my artifact drops are mostly hp (internal screaming) it won’t be hard to get her a good set
