California lens through my camera. There’s so many places I would skate more than bicycle. I like to meet this youtuber. I like the Coronado island bar beer from all over California. One friend I met here lives near by. I got four wheel skateboard. I like to ride all the way down the end of the peninsula island. The the sky scrapers from across the bay. The paddle boat is cool.
I’m 17 from Dallas Texas, live with my sister. Her husband is being stationed in Coronado in 3 months and I’m going with them . I’ve always loved the beach I’ve never made it very far but this is going to be life changing .thank you for this video
I grew up in San Diego, and my mother worked on Coronado. She used to bring us to work with her on weekends and after work she would take us around the island. This video brought back many fond memories! Thank you!
I lived there from the 7th grade til I graduated High school (1977-1984) All I wanted at the time was to get out. Now all I wanna do is go back. I visit every coupe of years.
My daily walk. From the bay, to the amphibious base, then to north island along the water, and back again. Then it’s off to Balboa Park, another great walking spot.
Will be in San Diego, just for one day in May this year, we were there in January 2018, but didn't get to Coronado. I think I know how we will spend our day. Cheers!!
We used to stay there back when I was a pup, late 60's. We stayed at place across the street from the Del, the hotel was built in and around Spreckles mansion which was built in 1908, the Glorietta Bay Inn. Was a great place to stay. We went before the bridge was built, you could either take the ferry across which we usually did. The other option was to drive along the Strand.
Thanks for the tour! I kind of grew up in San Diego, and my dad was stationed at North Island. Mixed emotional memories of seeing him leave on a carrier, and return on a carrier (multiple times). We used to take the big ferry before the bridge was built. Super vivid memories. Thanks again!
The place is beautiful. Have been there many times for family vacations and we always get to stay at hotel del Coronado. Many of the things you talked about were extremely similar. Never knew the sand dunes spelled Coronado though!
We stayed at the Lavienda Inn across the way from the Del Coronado last August. We fell in love with the place it's beautiful and coming from England everybody was just so friendly. What a stunning place. We loved the local bar McP's Irish Bar where Navy Seals go ... Great food beer and atmosphere. Off course the trolley tour picks you up from the island and takes you to San Diego and all it's sightseeing areas. Christmas 2021 we will be back. Can not wait. Note: Had breakfast at the Del Coronado, wasn't cheap but an awesome experience. Great vlog 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
A very good well done video. thank you. Also, you have correctly said that it isn't really an island by more of a peninsula. Thanks for setting it straight.
The beach alone looks great. Really cool downtown area. You had me at "brewing company" lol. Great things to know. I am sure our travels will take us through there at some point.
I live in Utah but I’ve gone there a few times when I was little. I love that place, and I hope to make it back there in a few years for BUD/s. The SEALs are badass
Awesome, Going back to SD in August for 4 days. Only visited the beach on my last trip. Thats a half day planned in now on the Island. Great Informative video as always.
Fantastic list! I had no idea Frank Baum had lived there... we had one of the books in the middle! Jim wants one of those beers and I want one of those moo-pie ice cream things!!!
I was fortunate to live in Coronado throughout the 90s. I loved it there. It's a great community. Be sure to catch McP's Irish Pub while you are there. It's a Navy SEAL hangout.
I've lived here for ten years, and the ferry landing, as well as the Spreckels area, should at least have been mentioned. Possibly the El Cordova and the restaurants there, and maybe the boathouse/Glorietta Bay Marina.
Wife and I are planning a trip in early April. Question for those familiar with Coronado. If we take the ferry, is everything else easily walkable, or is it best to drive?
You don't need to take a ferry, you can drive (if you're renting a car) from the San Diego Airport to Coronado in about 10 minutes, its just a nice little ferry ride that's relaxing, you can also just take a cab to drop you off in Sea Port village, its a really nice place, tons of shops, where the ferry drops you off is on the north side, also a ton of shops and restaurants there, but if you want to go to the Coronado hotel, you'll have to take a cab, its about 3-4 mile walk. There's a ton of stuff walking distance from the Coronado hotel.
in 59, a film was shot there In jazz only girls and the same heat was from/в 59 году там снимали фильм В джазе только девушки и такая же жара стояла из Чикаго до Сан диего отдельный поезд что ли ходил или это только по сценарию???
Hey, man. I've been watching many of your videos lately and I just noticed in this one it looks like you've lost weight! Looking good! I plan on visiting Death Valley after watching one of your videos.
why didn’t go to the hotel itself and didn’t shoot a video where in 58 they filmed the film There are only girls in jazz and a scene where Marilyn Monroe sang .../почему не заше в сам отель и не снЯл видео где в 58 годуиснимали фильм В джазе только девушки и сцену где Мэрлин Монро пела...
Jim Blake never paid my brother for that house on xanthus in tulsa so it made my brother look like he never paid off his first home he ever bought in his life after returning to tulsa after he completed his tour of duty in Vietnam.
Hey dude, I follow all your vids. You have influenced my wife and I to travel California. Seriously thank you so much. Keep it coming man
I was there back in 1987. The whole Inlet is like a movie set. Beautiful.

@Tera Gillotti Perform research on Flixzone. It is a scam.
Lived here two years, LOVED IT... Hooya, lol
What city do you live in now?
The view of the island as you drive across the bridge was stunning.

Well I must live a sheltered life I was born and raised in California and I’ve never heard of this place 👍
Always good to hear about new places to explore right?

How’s the parking in Coronado?
Thank you!I found a couple gems to try =D I just subbed for reppin hometown
Coronado Avenue, not street. The sand dunes spell out CORONADO BEACH. 😊
Utica square Apts are no longer there
Orange Avenue, as opposed to Orange Street
I lived on that street!!
We are in recovery from alcohol now?
I live in San Diego

For pilots
Ummmm love your work but Coronado is actually an Island despite the man made improvements 😂😂😉
At Maria can you believe they are so mean?
It's Orange Avenue.....not Orange Street.
Hey Josh☺
Hello!
Like moo moo's 🐮 💕 ❤ 🤪 ♥ 💗
I suspect it's gunner homeless in Austin looking for his box of records he asked me to keep for him last time I lived at Utica Square Apts.
Very
Jim Blake never paid my brother for that house on xanthus in tulsa so it made my brother look like he never paid off his first home he ever bought in his life after returning to tulsa after he completed his tour of duty in Vietnam.
Chucks pilot flying to Michele's wedding might have accidentally crashed into the world trade center
Some like it hot 🔥
He may of been the pilot.
