It should be same. if you are not in confidence then do one thing detach the current public ip and create and attach a new ip to the vm and then restore and attach back main ip.

So i established fail over in ASR, thing is my On-prem network and Azure VNet network will not conflict. If i fail over the AD server it will take static IP of my On-prem that's different from azure network, how can we communicate the On-prem users and my AD on azure. Here s2S vpn established

Why you have choose Backup restore and not Snapshot? What is difference between them? In what case we have to take snapshot of VM? Please explain it
