She was awful but I really can't blame her for it. Her husband brought her onto the lines, then you're doing the mental gymnastics of trying to say enough to not be weird, but not interrupt. Obviously you got Howard protecting the mess ups, but it's obvious as hell, and all the regulars notice it. She couldn't win. Put the blame on Howie bringing her onto such a strong and cutthroat cast.

You can tell over some episodes when Howard is annoyed with Artie. He doesn’t react to Artie’s comments and just glosses over him. It’s a shame. Everyone laughs at Artie’s jokes except Howard. Also, Beth has plenty of time to do all of the animal crap because all those pesky life things like you know… bills have been removed.
