One of the most fun mods to do on your motorcycle is installing an exhaust system. The Trail 125 comes from the factory with one of the quietest exhausts I've ever heard (or barely heard), which was impressive and something I appreciated as I was able to whisper through trails and neighborhoods without a trace. When MNNTHBX offered me a test drive on this hand made Yoshimura Cyclone Race-Style straight through system, I couldn't resist! The Cerakote finish on the muffler and heat shield with Works Finish on the header assembly look amazing and ensure durability. Packaging it all up into the stock confines within the skid plate and offering that vintage look, it was game on! But... how does it sound? Let's find out!
this is great. best riding I've seen of this bike so far. thanks for filming it all!!!
Thanks for noticing how I was giving it all 9 horses! Lol! I was having a good time filming this one in particular
Been checking out your videos on the trail, lots of good information. The system sounds great, hoping to hear about the gains in HP and torque.
That was a fun Yoshi sound share. Very cool how you provided multi-terrain sound samples. Looks and sounds perfect 👌
Fantastic video. Can really tell what it sounds like in all riding situations. 👌
Glad you liked it!
I'm sold...gonna get one for mine!
Finally ordered mines!!!! Can't Wait!!!!!!
How could you have more fun than that? Honda should pay as your vids certainly show the flexibility this little machine offers.
That was some nice riding! I love to see someone putting the Trail 125 through some paces on the Trail :p
Nice riding man! At the hairpin/sand turn around, would you be able to get a tight and quicker turn/exit if you counter leaned? (As in what you'll see motocops do for tight turns or motocross dudes do, where they dump the bike down and left and their body leans to the right to keep the traction patch as wide as it possibly can while the bike is leaned over)
I mean that as a genuine question, not a critique or anything. I only have a basic understanding of techniques, not any personal practice with hairpins like that.
Anyways, fantastic video! That Yoshimura exhaust just looks like it BELONGS on the CT125. No two ways about it. By the way, nice land you/your family/some friend(s) have. Not all of that looked like public land like Croom or such, and some of the trees and such make this look like North Florida so I hope that the last Hurricane didn't rain any shingles down or have your gutters and soffits blow away.
Stay safe on the bike and off man! Best of luck/wishes/etc.
Any noticeable change in performance?
I loved that sound Honda, four stroke.
I love the clouds and darkness, beautiful.. ..............and 2:20 ? what was that ?
Can you post a link for the exhaust?
Wow that sounds really great how's the performance any changes
It adds a bit of power on paper, but nothing substantial in the way it feels when riding
Hey John I’m in the hunt for the 125 trail I was watching a video about the foot pegs I heard your heading upstate ny I’m near Albany and I saw guitars hanging I play too I enjoy the vids since I’m interested in the trail I currently have a Honda 250L I want to trade in on for the trail
Hi Bobby, thanks for commenting! I've played guitar since I was a kid, but don't often play much anymore. They're there when I'm ready to get back on it though (especially the Gibson 50's reissue Les Paul!). If you ride mostly trails and roads above 50mph, I'd keep the 250L honestly. The Trail 125 (and Grom, Monkey, Cub) are kind of novelty bikes in my opinion and I really only use them around the neighborhood. It doesn't mean they can't do what you ask, but that 250 will do it all much easier and more comfortably. Just my two cents, hope it helps! (and I'm not too late!)
Am checking also the sound but mostly exhale.
Is your forks easily turned mine have no resistance or do I need to tighten up the nut
Sounds like it has some bass
definitely!
Sounds cool. But definitely looks better than the godawful chrome looking one. They should have did it black.
Do you need an efi tuner after the install?
No, doesn’t change enough to require more fuel
I watch all your videos. I got a question that has nothing to do with bikes. I watch this other youtube channel called Scammer Payback... Is that your brother? He looks alot like you.
You crazy for revving your engine
that's the best part about a louder exhaust!
Welcome to mini bikes 👌
@@John5XR I concur with this here theory 👏
Yea, I’m going to get one too. Need it for my 2022 CB500X first though. I’ve purchased 3 bikes this year, Trail, Grom, and CB500X. Honda has really knocked it out of the park with their lineup.
@@BattleFlacid Absolutely 💯
Got one of these pipes mid summer of 23. Holy loud! I have to wear earplugs now...
