    Yup! I drive with my legs hard to the ground and the bell flies up by guidance of the hand and not pulling! Great tips!

    I took a few lessons from Joe and they were fantastic. Cut the learning curve by months if not years. Thanks again.

    I really like the way you explain things by showing.I went down to the base ment after watching this and started doing some snatches and was amazed at how much easier and smoother they went up,concentating on leg drive.I also did some heavyish cleans with 40kg bells.The same thing with cleans.They feel much easier when you explode with leg drive.

    As always thank you! These little tips always help me realize what mistakes I make when performing these exercises. Snatches feel much smoother now

    I tried you technique and my satch feels 30% easier. I tried Sergey's (Russian kbell guy) technique and which looks cooler and smoother but it causes upswing to be harder in the snatch

    the snatch is a KB swing initiated by the posterior chain but guided by the arm.

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  2 месяца назад

      Yes but truly more of an upright motion so it can be a pull by the shoulder, semi jump with quads. But yes directed by the arm not muscled by the arm.

    Joe, I feel quite ill when you start juggling with that bell……. I understand that it’s the legs which propel the bell upwards - correct? 👍

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes the arm is a a solid rope. Body moves arm shoulder and arm hand guides the bell. GUIDES NOT MOVES.

    Hey Joe how many times during the week you train legs? What your rest schedule? Thanks for the awesome vids bro

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  2 месяца назад +1

      Usually twice as I only train KB 2 to 3 times a week and bike anytime I can which could be 0 to 3 times per week weather permitting .. I never train 2 days in a row anymore

    Anyone ever get mid-back cramping when attempting a high volume of snatches? I thought I’d try 100 @ 16 kg and noticed some light cramping.

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  27 дней назад

      I have before. More of a tightening and stay tight than a cramp . Perhaps massage and rolling?

    • @kyleheron38
      @kyleheron38 27 дней назад +1

      @@kettlebellmusclegainI’ve never tried rolling my back, but a massage is definitely on the horizon. Between moving more with KB’s, and cycling, legs and lower back have been a lot more tight/ tired. Time to loosen things up!

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  27 дней назад

      @kyleheron38 yeah eve a simple foam roller or a couple tennis balls under a towel will work.
