This is a watch I remember buying shortly out of College before I became a crazy watch enthusiast. I enjoyed it quite a bit for the number of years I owned it. Saltzman's Watches has gifted this watch to my channel for giveaway. A very generous gesture. Thank you Richard!

Raymond Weil is iconic. I really like how this watch looks, having that almost vintage but modern feel. so cool
Raymond weil was my gateway to mechanical watches. Will always have a soft spot for them
Unlike other collectors, I don't hate or even dislike Raymond Weil. I own a freelancer chrono and quite like the understated sportiness of the design (small highlights like the coloured hands and the extended date window adds a bit of "cool" and edge to the otherwise conservative dial).
But they are boring AF. All of their designs are pretty damn generic - their only standout design is the freelancer but even that's not that unique. Everything else is a sea of generic cases, dials and movements. Alongside the likes of Maurice Lacroix, they are the plain toast of the watch world. Not really offensive, and not bad (really, when you think about it) but boring compared to almost everything else.
Likewise, my first 'expensive' auto was a Raymond Weil. To me, if you not an enthusiast who wants massive brand heritage but want a well made, well regulated Swiss made watch - it's hard to go wrong with this 👍🏻
A very subtle understated timepiece that's oozes class and beauty.
You forgot generic.
Why is Raymond Weil barely mentioned by watch RUclips channels?
Same I’m curious
Because they did not pay for ads?
Does this or the 38mm have half links? Would it take a leather strap?
I saw someone wearing a RW and I liked it. I've seen plenty of their advertisements but never in real life. Super classic designs. And not terribly expensive either.
Really like the look of this watch. A nice mix of modern and classic design. And sport/dress watch characteristics. The lume is an added bonus.
Very underrated brand
I used to have a freelancer and I loved it. Eventually I upgraded but I could bare to sell the freelancer so I gave it to my father in law
Is it a good watch ? Did u have any issues
My current watch. Captures 95% of how I want my watch to look.
I bought a white freelancer calibre RW1212 recently, does anyone know if this watch will be good for value?
Just starting researching RW & found this old review with a giveaway. I’d never win anyway. I enjoy your content
Really love that mode! Just wish the logo was applied and it came in 38mm variant.
It looks very nice. Reminds me of a Tag Heuer Carrera.
What’s your input on a freelancer Raymond Weil
I think it looks really nice, and as a one watch for a normal person, it would be fantastic… however, to me It’s kind of a “nothing” watch, because it doesn’t have any uncommon or special design elements. It’s just a nice watch… but not special in any way. Nice watch though.
Beautiful watch but if 39 it is better
Actually it's very hard to find it here in Tokyo
That's a beautiful watch, really like the strap clasp that is pretty cool
