HAVE AN EPSON 8500 WIDE FORMAT. MY ISSUE IS WHEN THE PRINT IS COMING OUT OF THE PRINTER IT RUBS ALONG THE TOP OF THE OUTPUT AREA AND SMEARS. I LITERALLY HAVE TO SIT THERE AND PUSH THE FRONT OF THE FILM DOWN AS IT IS COMING OUT SO THAT IT DONT RUB ALONG THE TOP OF THE OUTPUT AREA.. SO TIME CONSUMING.. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO FIX IT?
Have you checked to see if they sell a different output tray. I know for my 1400 I use a 13x19 A-SUB box as an out put tray and it works well. As for wide format do you mean the epson ET-8550. Not to familiar with that printer but I will ask around and see if I can get a resolution for you. Thank for watching.
