How to install a rear safari window in a VW bus

- Time for another upgrade! I finally got my hands on a rear safari for the Riviera, and wasted no time getting it installed. Wolfgang provided everything I needed, and even upgraded the sliders to clear the jail bars! Easy install, and waaaay cooler than stationary glass. Comment below if you missed a step, or if I did!

I always put fronts in, this is my first rear. Makes 100% difference!

I had them install the curved "Hawiian" style because of the jail bars.

Update to the bobcat
Do they make a window screen for them?
They make one for when you're parked. I leave the wing nuts loose in the back so it closes when I stop. Keeps the exhaust out at red lights. When you take off the wind opens it and you get a nice flow.

where can you get a safari kit for the front window Baywindow?
@Thatscrazy2293 Fabio sells them. He's in Brazil. I've never seen one in person, but he has a reputation of poor quality. You also can't drive with a bay safari open. The Glass will 100% Crack withing a few miles.

Can I remove the bulkhead behind front seats to make room for seats to adjust back further on my bay window bus
I wouldn't. That's important for the integrity of the body. If you cut it out the doors might not close properly. If you need that much more room you might consider a different seat or moving the brackets back.
@@OldVolksTV I only want to cut the top half from where the seats mount So I can get seats that will slide back further what about the vans that have a walk-through

Yes. Comes complete and ready to install.
Is there any way to use the original glass you think? I'd love to keep the stickers I have

That's a badge for my club. Not many were made, and even fewer are mounted on cars.
