With the sd card option, whats the largest gb does this camera support? How many hrs of fhd video? Can you have continuous recording or only events? Thanks
Yes, it can continuously record. You can use a 128GB SD card which would be 10-12ish days of 24/7 recording. That's what I've did to avoid paying monthly for a subscription.
It can. Just have your wife download the app and sign in with your email and password. Then she can view the cameras as well as yourself. This is what me and my wife did.
Just wondering..... Do you know if the products will interchange between the two platforms? I'm guessing probably not but, thought you might have tried it before.
I ended up getting Roku because walmart didn’t have wyze cams. When i watch videos i can hear static but it’s not to bad, but i am also hearing like squeaky doors and like someone fumbling around the cam or close to it. Are these noises normal? It seems it happens day and night when I’m upstairs.
I have never had any of these issues. Try a different location for the camera. It could be the AC in your house making some move that's making that noise... If not then I'd id it something with the camera itself.
i just purchased 2 roku cameras to monitor my elderly mom at her house. I live in a different town and i put her cameras at her house and a few that i bought for my house on the roku smart home app on my iPhone. In one screen i can see moms and my cameras all at once. My mom has a lady that takes care of my her during the day. She knows the wifi and password at my moms house. My question is......if she downloads the Roku smart home app on her phone, can she put my moms cameras on her phone when she's at her own house and start logging in to see on her phone with the app, who's at my moms house and eavesdropping and such when not at moms house?
Can you help me? I only want the camera to record motion events. How can I do that? If the Roku cant do it, can you recommend a security system that does? Thank you.
You can set this one to only record motion events. I'd suggest getting a 128GB SD card and then it will record it all locally without paying a monthly fee.

I actually just got my money back and went with Wyze cameras, which these are the exact same but different software. Got those to work with my Spectrum router just fine.
You didn't say anything about if it's a free or if it's not free to set up Do I have to pay a monthly thing or I mean can I use it free but not get all the services or just a little services
Did anyone else having trouble verifying your email when setting this up? When i go to sign in the Roku smart home app and it uses my Roku remote app email and when i click the verify email link it sends. It sends me to an error link.
Does it record sound??
Yes it does.
Yep jus had to remove the tape🤦🏻♀️😂

I just purchased my Roku cameras an they will not connect to local network
Great video!!!
Cost of Roku cloud subscription
Mine will not connect to my wifi at all.. any help??
I live in an apartment and I don’t know what GHz my wifi is
That could be your issue. Is it apartment wifi (like from the building) or your own wifi in your apartment?
I would suggest turning off your mobile data, and then try to setup the camera. I've seen this work many times before with many smart devices.
Will this stream to roku tvs?
Yes, they can from what Roku says. I didn't have a Roku tv to test with.
100% Yes!!!!! I'm watching from Samsung SMART TV right now via my Roku device that I have plugged in. It's an old TV too. lol
Why won’t is connecting to my iPhone I have the Camera it won’t connect to the Wi-Fi or my phone
I wonder why Roku is considered an indoor cam when the Wyze equivalent is indoor/outdoor.
Money money money!!?
This is helpful, thank you
Como descargo la app no me aparece en playstore ni con el codigo QR solo me aparece la del control para la tv
Weird. I'm wondering if the devices don't work in your country. Try searching to Roku Smart Home App.
Vivo en los angeles y tampoco me permite abrir la app, dice que no está disponible en mi país.
😢 I bough and outdoor one and it tells me a I have a 14 day free trial
My camera says cannot can connected why?
Try to turn off your mobile data, and just be on wifi and see it connects. I seen this work many times with Wyze Cameras and these are really Wyze cameras with a Roku logo lol.
its just the first wyze cam or the V2 , wyze sold over stock of old products
Are these the cameras that people were hacking into?
Not that I know of... But... At the end of the day... Everything is hackable lol.
@@BigCVlogs True. Thank you. 😊
