Sounds different from the other version, but everything is more crisp and polished. Still have to get use to this version.
DarkSlayer937 I think I like it better though, because (hopefully) it's the result of what they really wanted out of Can't Save Myself, and it's still an amazing song on an amazing album.
+2055g I'm all for it if this is what the band wanted. I still appreciate their music and I hope they continue to make more awesome albums and songs such as this one. I'm just more use to the other version since I've been hearing it for nearly a year, but I still enjoy this version.
DarkSlayer937 yeah this is one is too "clean". The voice of the second singer was perfectly disguisting on the 1st version and it was awesome. Patty was also more dirty and I like less his nasal way to sing here.

Ross Stanton is you want to get right down to the truth, they processed it, polished it, and auto tuned the vocals more haha, but that’s how this industry works
I was looking up Against The Current In Our Bones Tour and i was really wanting to know who the support act was and found out it was 'As It Is' & 'Beach Weather'. And i then searched up 'As It Is' and just by listening to one song i got really into their music already. Such a great band can't wait to see them at ATC concert

I feel like patty has been working with a vocal coach or something, he sounds WAY less nasally on this version, which is a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. regardess, i love this.

In the old version they were a bit quiet and didn't make as much of an impact as they should have but in this one you can actually hear them properly and it sounds amazing!!!!!

I like the chorus in this one better. But I couldn't really feel the verses.
Getting with a producer really cleaned this song up. I love all the doubled vocals and lead guitar! Ben has much better pitch in this too. It's so brilliant o.o

yeah he hits the high notes like Patrick but other then that. Patrick's voice and talent are skills very few have. as it is have it's unique voice and just as wonderful

I like it but i prefer the one from the Ep :v
I honestly can't stand this one's chorus... Like I enjoy Ben's voice usually but at that screamed part, he was more of a background in the first version, and this one he's a lot louder, and he doesn't capture as much raw emotion in this version in my opinion.
Everything else about this version is better to me though, so I assume I'll get used to it, and learn to love it. c: As It Is is radical!
