The Rams have absolutely killed the draft and free agency. I have nothing but total trust and can not wait to see what they do. This team is so much fun to watch.
Maybe there’s 15 guys on the planet, but you’re right. The Rams have one of them, and identifying which college kids have the magic is an extremely inexact process. Brady, Montana, Warner and perhaps Purdy are all examples.
Bo Nix is quite a talent-- a great athlete with a big arm and pinpoint accuracy that can run. If Nix is there they might not have a choice. He's the most underrated talent in the draft. I'd take T'Vondre Sweat in the third round and an Edge in the second round. With their other third round pick they can get a CB. Take a big running back in the 5th. Nix could wind up being the best QB in the draft. You can't knock him for the system he played in.
Nix didn’t excel in college until he was like 23 years old. And he feasted off of throws around the LOS. No way the Rams draft him.
I love all this draft speculation. No edge, no deep playoff run.

I may be stuck here in this...maybe stuck is not the word... I still having faith in Bennett. The Rams drafted him and he's back at practice. I don't believe we need a qb in this draft. Let's Go Rams!
He was out all year last year, so I think Rams should kick Bennett. Sense was in active last season he should go. Who knows if he has a Melton down again. Matthew Stanford needs a better backup quarterback back. I think Bo Nix from Oregon would fit perfectly. I think us Rams want another Super Bowl again. If I was a ram team, I get that quarterback. Bennett, you're out sorry but was not there with the ram. It was disappointing, Bennett. He's not a right fit the ram
Looking forward to this draft. Rams do not need to draft Bo Nix. They should wait until the later rounds to pick a QB up.
Regarding Joe Alt-- watch Mike Martz's analysis of Alt-- he is not enamored as everyone else. He believes JC Latham has much more upside, aggression and feels Latham should be the better player by a lot. Feels Alt could be very disappointing at the NFL level.
If Rams trade up it Better be for either Joe Alt, Marvin Harrison Jr. or Romeo Odunze... there isn’t a DE or DT worth trading up for from 19th

Stafford wants the Gold jacket and another Super Bowl (or 2). Stafford confirmed he’s not going anywhere during his NFL Film “Lock on”.
I should also mention,the blocking at the TE position has been upgraded,the place kicker at this time has not been addressed. And with our new offensive coordinator,a chande has been implemented in the run game. From.an outside zone to a gap system. I'm convinced the rams are going to pound close in

Spencer Rattler would be a very smart pick. Not expected to start right away, and has a lot of potential, and can learn from Stafford. Stafford is 36, it would be stupid to not be smart about him getting injured.
I think we have Stafford at least another 2 years as long as he is healthy and having fun.

Any rumor I hear, especially the week of the draft, I consider to basically be a lie. 😆 Why would the Rams want to leak out info they want a 1st Rd QB? Makes no sense. I can see them taking a QB in later rounds, but not early.

Did Green Bay ask Rodgers if it was ok to draft Love? No the team decides when to bring it's time to bring in competition, Stafford age and yearly cost I think I would grab Bo Nix or Michael Pennix if either fall to the second round.

Breaking someone’s completion percentage when the overwhelming majority of your throws are screen passes at the LOS isnt the flex you think it is
TR keeps calling Bennett a wasted pick, or "not the answer"...Maybe he isn't. But, isn't it a little early to call it that way? He took time off for something serious for sure. Lets wait until camp to see were it goes before calling him done. I think he is going to prove people wrong....

People complain about taking a QB early until it turns out to be a Mahomes or Jordan 🤷🏾♂️ I trust Les and McVay, if they feel the need to draft a QB early I’m all for it
Not me, Goff was Snead's doing. That given, if McVay wants a qb out of this draft, I doubt Nix is even a consideration. Nix is a Snead pick, not a McVay pick. I'd sit at 19, see if a team is willing to trade up to 19.
If the Rams are going to draft then draft a project QB with a high ceiling Joe Milton where I'd want them to swing for because if your gonna swing then go for the fences others I wouldn't mind we could get 2nd,3rd,4th Devin Leary, Sam Hartman, that dude out of Tulane feel like I'm missing somebody I liked but yeah those guys are nice n could be something now truthfully I wanted them to get Feilds n see what he could be his Ceiling high n felt like we could sign him to short or long term contract for cheaper than majority of the QB'S.
The draft can’t come soon enough. The rumors have covered every base. They mean nothing.

That was some serious flexing on football QB comprehension guys. Les and Sean recognize QB talent. You have to have a level of understanding few have to give up the capital they did for a 33 year old QB with a losing record, 1 pro bowl and zero All pro seasons and playoff wins in 12 years. They'll recognize the next Stroud and do what it takes to get him. But like you said "The time is now". And when you look at the TEs in the championship round/SB last year. Or how Gronk jumpstarted a 34 year old Brady's career. I hope they do whatever it takes to land Bowers. A nasty blocker I watched stone Aiden Hutchinson as a freshman, who can turn 5 yard dumpdowns into 1st downs all day and occasionally break one.
Spencer Rattler is a good prospect as well. The Broncos might go for him, but the Rams can get him. Stafford is 36 and can easily get injured. Rattler wouldn't be expected to start right away, unlike someone like Nix or the top 6 guys.
Might be overthinking .. Sometimes you don't need excellence at QB and shouldn't hold off trying to determine it (prospect Andrew Luck for instance). More often then not, a good/very good QB is what helps "A TEAM" win, not a unicorn. In the history of the NFL, there have been more good to very good QB's win SB's than "Superstar excellent ones ... Big Ben/Flaco/Johnson/Wilson/Nick Foles ... Have to have perspective of it being a Team effort, not a savior effort.
Go for Spencer Rattler in the 3rd round, maybe trade up in the 3rd round for him.
I would only take Nix in a trade down in the 1st round to about pick 24 to get a extra 3rd pick otherwise no thank you because he won’t play at 2 to 3 years so getting the extra pick in the 3rd round would justify it 😂
Draft a QB in the 4th thru 7th, no problem. Top 3 rounds belong to the defense. Unless you guys want to experience a long painful season.

Yes but what are the odds of them actually doing this? They would not only have to change the helmet they would have to change the entire logo. I wish they would. Why can't they have throwback uni's? other teams have done it but the rams won't do it. At least give us few games with the blue and whites or the ferragamo's! but it seems they don't even want to do that, I think it's because people will love them too much and demand a change and they don't want that

This of course is my opinion but I think it’s much smarter to pick a QB when it’s not a glaring need as opposed to scrambling to find a new QB when Stafford retires.

Bennett is not the answer. Nix will not be the answer. If not going for Penix, put it off until 3-4th round. Maybe Rattler or Pratt to develop because Nix will be gone. I hope we do draft a WR in the second round… a lot of talent still left.

@@Sherryprince-wv4fu I don't know that it has been formally confirmed, but college players and roommates have alluded to his constant drinking and partying in college-- people were concerned about him for a long time. He's young, we can all make mistakes. Hopefully he's got it behind him and good things are on the horizon.

Drafting in round 1 gives you 5 years of control compared to 4 years in subsequent rounds. The Ravens traded up into the first round to take Lamar Jackson for that very reason.
You can call him what ever you want, but fragile is not accurate.
@goofyinestherville you're right. Fragile was a poor description. He's 36, being hounded by a bunch of 26-year-olds. There is nothing wrong with looking towards the future, even if the Rams present option is A1.
