Thank you Sir, this video is going to help me tremendously. Yes, there's a plethora of other videos on how to build a sled, however for me personally, it's the one ill be basing my sled off. It's simple, doesn't need to be jacked up with all sorts of gimmicks but can be added at later stages if so needed. The most important thing to me is accurate cuts time and again, and it's not going to take me a week to construct either
Hey Brendon, Im glad it was helpful. I prefer not to make jigs/sleds that have too many gadgets on them. A good squared up sled though, will take your woodworking to a whole new level. I recommend searching for William Ng 5 cut method for a better explanation of how to get your fence dead on, and I also like using Jonathan Katz Moses stop block. It's simple, locks securely and doesnt flex. Also only need to throw in one piece of T Track to use it. Best of luck!! -JR
