My friend I would like to tell you that if you want to become leaner there are 3 steps. 1) go into a calorie deficit, eat less calories than what you burn (called maintenance calories). 2) get more protein intake(1.6*body weight in kg) 3) eat things that are low calorie density (search up low calorie density foods. they are mostly whole foods and are very filling even at just around 1000 calories) for example: 25 strawberries have the same amount of calories as 1 spoon of peanut butter.
