    I think the changes of sizing that you're skeptical about is because, it was very much too narrow for the general height & weight consensus to get a more snug fit between sizes (choosing size medium instead of a BIG & tall large), therefore clearing up causing a confusion.

  • @iCraft54Games
    @iCraft54Games 2 года назад +5

    I personally like the baggier look. I’m 5’6, 130lbs and I wear 2 of them from FW21, size small and i like the fit and they’re a bit baggy and comfy. I also have one from FW19 and it feels tighter. Same size too, small, but I don’t like how tight it feels.

    Oversized fitting is currently in right now, and personally the old hoodie looks like a medium fit or shrunken large on you, especially at the sleeves. The new one looks better and you can always shrink it to fit tighter, but I would leave it as is since I like the loose and baggy fit myself.
    Thanks for sharing.

    Just picked up the size XL bling bogo in brown off stock x. I was dreading the sizing but it actually fits really well and i think i now even prefer the new sizing! i think you might just be slightly unlucky that the new sizes don’t look as good on you as the old ones, but it gives you a good excuse to keep all your old ones right 👌🏽

    • @jasonkershner7061
      @jasonkershner7061 2 года назад +3

      Nothing will shrink IF you hang it and let it air dry and make sure to wash in COLD water. That's the only way to avoid clothes shrinking. Hot water and hot temperatures cause clothes to shrink. Personally, I hand wash my Supreme hoodies bc I don't want anything happening to them in the washer. That way I have control of everything. Lol

    Do we know when exactly the hoodie sizing changed? 2013? 2016? I much prefer the old sizing too so if I want to get that sizing, how far back do I need to go? They’ve done it for crewnecks too. I own a 2001 box logo in large which fits perfectly, and I also own a 2021 box logo that fits like a box the length is shorter and the width is much wider. So annoying!

    Even just 3 years ago the Bandana Box Logo hoodies were MUCH better quality. The fit was better, the quality control was much better. The bandana box logo was MUCH sturdier, and less baggy. You gotta remember, clothing companies change the way their clothes look and fit based on trends. People are liking the over-sized look again like back in the early 2000s (not quite that baggy but still baggier than the 2010's) so of course, companies are making their clothes bigger now. I have more issues with their quality control now. You're like the 10th person I saw take their box logo hoodie out of the package with a stain or flaw on it already. That shit is messed up. Their probably a billion dollar company and they can't even get something as simple as quality control correct. And they don't really seem to care. Personally I'm not gonna buy any Box Logo hoodies that were made after 2019. Yes, you're gonna have to pay up for them but to me, I'd rather be happy with what I get knowing it's gonna last a long time without falling apart. The hoodies from 2019 and before were also MUCH better quality than they are now. Shit is crazy

      @@SirPierreSe agreed.... once Supreme was sold to a corporation, I knew the quality and quality control would start really going downhill. Lucky for you, you've got ALOT of Supreme stuff from the early 2000s and 2010s. I didn't start buying Supreme stuff until 2019. Idk about you but when I wear a Supreme hoodie I immediately put it back in the plastic. I make sure sure keep all of them clean as hell just like my Air Max 90s. If you take care of your stuff, it'll last for decades. If I was you I'd just keep my old stuff really nice and clean and just rock that shit. Besides, when you wear Supreme stuff from the older days, most people don't have any of those clothes, so you stand out. Only buy new stuff if you REALLY want it (I still buy their t-shirts occasionally if there is something cool on them) my goal was to get 1 of every color of either Bandana Box Logo hoodies and/or the fw16 box logo hoodies (FW16 was my favorite year for the box logos, especially the brown cow box logo which I DO have) all I need now is Pink and I was going to buy the fw21 Pink box logo hoodie but after seeing your video, I guess I'm not gonna roll the dice and hope I get a clean one. I guess I'm down to buying either the Pink Bandana Box Logo hoodie or the fw17 Magenta box logo hoodie. Which ever I can save up for and find first, I'm gonna buy. Once I have that, I probably won't buy anymore unless something happens to one of the ones I got. Since i already have basically every other color, there's no need to buy more. @@SirPierreSe Sometimes, you're right... that does happen with certain companies. But not with Supreme. They went the other way unfortunately. You have this big conglomerate coming in that knows that Supreme releases small numbers of their clothes and they sell out in minutes. What did you think they were gonna do? If I had to guess..... I would say that within the next 3 to 5 years, that they will start manufacturing WAY higher numbers of their clothes bc they know they will sell them. Then the whole wearing Supreme bc it's hard to find and unique thing will go completely out the window and they'll become just another brand that produces as many clothes as they possible can, as fast as they possibly can which will, in turn, ruin Supreme for good. If that happens, it will drive away ALOT of long-time Supreme customers who like the fact that their clothes are hard to find

    • @jasonkershner7061
      @jasonkershner7061 2 года назад

I won't buy ANY Supreme stuff that was made from 2020 and later. I'll stick with 2018/19 and before. Yes those clothes cost alot more bc they're harder to get, but thats the precise reason I'll still buy those. When you see an older Supreme hoodie, you can EASILY tell how much better quality they are and in that way you're still standing out in the crowd.
