Thanks! I honestly enjoy playing this character the most and added a few additional scythes to my build, using double slash and spinning strikes (love spinning strikes with a poise flask for dealing with teams lol). I have a Weiss character at level 80 right now, probably going to go to 120 before I start really using it for PvP. At level 40 I was doing alright but really lacked the attributes to use everything I wanted to with the build so was primarily just poking people with a rapier lol
I know it really seems like it was meant for the scythe from the start lol. I was wondering if wild strikes would be good for it too, alas not applicable to the scythe.
@@Gonzalouchikari not bad at all honestly. I started from lake facing site of grace behind stormveil, rode over to graves and killed the 3 skeletons, back to the grace and repeat. My first character I think it took maybe 30 minutes to get 3 of them. My second one when I remade her it went even faster
Thanks haha, I was doing invasions and it was still pretty shortly after the game was released, and I had advanced pretty far and thought I should see if I can make a more useful flask. Read the description on the ruptured crystal and thought... Wait it does what? After blowing myself up with one I thought it could make for a funny clip... Then I found out there were two of them lol
I think that's Volume 1, ch. 8. "Players And Pieces.". That's after Ruby falls from the sky cause she jumped off of the nevermore and left Weiss up there. Weiss (in the sky, hanging on to the nevermore): How could you leave me! Ruby: I said jump. Blake: she's gonna fall. Ruby: she'll be fine. Ren: she's falling...
So I like haven’t seen RWBY since in the middle of the fourth season. Ruby rose can shoot eyeball lasers? I thought her semblance was that she was fast
Not exactly haha, I think that clip was from V6 maybe? And Ruby is trying to learn how to use her silver eyes power on command rather than just being lucky when it activates. So she phrases it that way when she asks, and her mentor smacks her on the head. Yea her semblance is petal burst which has evolved a little since the show began, but the silver eyed power is separate from semblance and something every/only silver eyed people can do. I won't give away too much in case you decide to pick up watching it again but basically having silver eyes is the reason Summer was killed and why Ruby is being hunted now
@@Brandon_Y. I think that's what I ultimately landed on because a lot of the other options kinda screw up the cape. Like making it look more like a scarf than a cape

You get it from Rodericka's quest line sort of (you can get it without doing it still but I think that's like if you skip stormveil Castle) Basically once she becomes a spirit tuner she'll leave her red hood in the castle. So there's a pile of bodies under a hanging troll with two dog enemies right next to the grafted Scion. If you go there and get the chrysalid's memento and give it to Rodericka she'll go to round table hold. Then talk back and forth with her and blacksmith until she does spirit tuning, and she'll no longer have her hood, go back to the pile of bodies at the castle and the red hood is there. Or if you already got her as a spirit tuner without doing all that the hood should still be at that spot in the castle
So, I really like your lofi mixes... but when are we gonna get Weiss in Elden Ring? I mean, that sweet DLC came out... could maybe do a Yang instead? Edit: OMG I just noticed the rose effect on the Bloodhound's Step ash that you added! That's a great touch!
Nice cosplay characters are the most fun to play as in my opinion, it's nice having some limitations to your build and figuring out stuff around that. For pvp I use shard of Alexander, starscourge heirloom, greatjar arsenal and last ones a freebie that I might use concealing veil, carian filigreed crest, blessed dew or whatever else I might need at the moment like one of the horn charms. PvE I'll throw on dragoncrest greatshield, and axe or claw talisman
Oh that was just some editing lol, I used a program called Davinci Resolve (it's free!) and then wondered if I could do something like that. I googled something like "rose petals falling green screen" or something like that then added it on an overlapping video track, and used a chroma key thing to remove the green screen so all you see is the petals
@@spengalitamale Shame. Don't get me wrong, you did a fantastic job on the editing that I genuinely thought there was a way to make those rose petals. I am just disappointed its not possible in-game.
Completely on board with you there haha. I'd love a devil may cry type game with RWBY, all about the weapons and style. Until then we gotta make do with crossovers and side scrollers and make our own fun lol
@@spengalitamale There's actually a game called RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, made by RoosterTeeth. Each member of Team RWBY is playable, each with their own unique moveset based on their in-show fighting style, weapons, and semblance. There's even a DLC that adds Team JNPR as playable characters.
This particular one was samurai but I ended up remaking the character using prophet. Since the character in this video was like the second one I made and hadn't finished the game yet I didn't know about the different places I could accidently pick up a +8 weapon and started having a harder time finding pvp matches, so I opted to create a new one, went to level 40 with a +3 weapon and held it there. The faith is only really necessary if you want to use the madness incants as "silver eyes." If you're more interested in just using the scythe a higher vig/str/dex approach would be better. Since I have higher faith I made my weapons holy to get better scaling
Do you mean like starting class? For this one I used samurai but I ended up remaking the character and went up to level 125 primarily focusing points into strength and some into Dex/faith since the grave scythe is strength scaling. I'd almost completely did away with faith to use more of those points but decided I like having flames of frenzy as a finisher to roll catch. That said though if you want to use the winged scythe and more of the frenzy spells then more points in faith will get you extra damage. I do love the winged scythe blocking healing but also loved changing up movesets between grave scythes
Haha what part specifically? Or just the whole build? Honestly it was mostly haphazardly put together. Found the winged scythe and red hood first so decided I'd make Ruby. Had to bump my faith up to use scythe so was able to use eyes of frenzy too and thought that fit pretty well in place of silver eyed power. Later decided to farm grave scythes to be able to have a variety of ashes of war. Then watched a video on all the different incantations and went and found frenzied burst (also recommended) and went through a nightmare of a time getting to the consecrated snowfield still at level 52 and not leveling my weapons more (because I don't know if that impacts matchmaking or not in this game) to get unendurable frenzy (not recommended, the other two have definitely had utility killing low health enemies, but this one takes too long to cast, leaves you exposed for too long, and eats too much fp. I'm probably going to Respec to put the extra points I added to faith for this somewhere else).
Hmm so for my character I had already started that one as a samurai and just used the mirror to change my appearance. But honestly confessor would probably be a better starting class. Frenzy incantations require faith (22 for frenzied burst) and winged scythe which is honestly an exceptional weapon, especially the weapon art in pvp (stops people you hit from healing for a time) and that requires 24 faith. So faith will be the highest immediate requirement you have if you opt to use those weapons/incantations. Flame of frenzy is definitely recommended as it has low requirements (I think it was like 16 faith, doesn't use too much fp) and is great for roll catching people on low health for a finisher
I've seen vtubers use mods to put themselves in the game. So why not use a mod to put Ruby skin in the game. Or did they not have a mod for that yet 😕?
The more the merrier haha, thinking Adam would be an easy one to do, Yang would be very easy. Blake's probably the hardest one to think of a build for. No weapons really click for me to say "yea that's like gambol shroud"
