Probably a good thing you're on a 450, that seems to have the power and weight to make a good snow bike. I've seen it done on smaller 2 strokes like a 300 and they were running the crap out of the motor, your 450 seems to handle it nicely. Even the EXCs work allot harder then yours is. I'd say you can hang pretty well. Thumbs up!

yeah the snow bike is about the easiest thing to ride out there for snow!

I ride a snowbike now and have always wanted more power and traction . Why hasn't the snow hawk phase taken off? I have never ridden one so don't know how unfamiliar it is to a snowbike but what is it missing?

It's mostly the handling that is the downside of the snow hawk, they feel super top heavy and unstable at lower speeds, they are substantially heavier and the tub can tend to tobogan if you try and sidehill as hard as a bike. For high speeds they actually are quite fun, and still will spank a normal sled in sidehills and trees.

Also if you buy one get the 600ho. Mine is the 503 and it's fun but definitely needs more kick for hills. Especially with my fatass on it. I loved that thing until I rode the snowbike. That snowbike actually feels like a dirtbike. The hawk feels like a jetski had a retarded love child with a crotch rocket motorcycle. It's takes a few days to really get used to it

I get your points being top heavy and unstable with the weight of a twin up high, hope one day I'll get to try one. I do love my snowbike tho! Thanks for the reply and that's beautiful country you guys have to play in
      Cheers

@@Rubiomechanics Lol it definitely takes time investment to be able to ride a snowhawk effectively. They are difficult to ride slow or maneuver in tight situations

In my defense. That was the first real ride I've had on that pig. Lol. That was horrible.
