- Hey!
I'm done! First miniatures project I've had since I was a kid playing Warhammer. This took a lot of effort but I'm finally where I can field these on the tabletop for a game.
I have two divisions here:
Edward IV, Commander and General
2 x Bill & Bow
2 x Men at Arms
1 x Scottish Mercenary Pikemen
Richard "The Kingmaker" Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick
2 x Bill & Bow
2 x Men at Arms (one painted as John de la Poles retinue)
1 x Burgundian Handgunners (led by Francis d'Amboise)
I hope you enjoy the video.
Lovely figures!
Thankyou so much!
Absolutly fantastic, great painting and basing, worth a new sub!👍
Thanks so much for subbing! Gives me the drive to post more content :)
Brilliant presentation! Amazing collection and painting!
Thankyou so much! Really appreciate the support
These look great. Nicely done.
Thank you so much! Glad you liked them :)
Brilliant Yorkist Army . The commander bases and flags are splendid . Thumb up for the painting job . Glad to discover your channel ! Subbed .
Thank you for the kind words and the encouragement. Really means a lot and happy channel birthday 🎂!
@@bloodsalt You are welcome ! Always a pleasure watch and follow the work of the miniatures hobbyist ! Wish you a nice day , Robert .
Smashing force!!
Thankyou! Sadly my dice rolls don’t do them justice. I think I’ve lost 4/5 battles 😂
Lovely work. Inspiring.
Thanks for the kind words ✌
Very impressive army. 👍
Thanks brother! I'll check your channel out as Pike&Shotte is next for me I think XD
@@bloodsalt Thx, your welcome. Im about to start hundred years war project. 😃
@@NicGamz Awesome! I'll keep a look out for your updates
Brilliant mate your painting and units lool fantastic. Loved the editing as well. They'll look great on the table, hope your first game goes well 👍😁
Thankyou brother! I can't wait.
I do have a question for you unrelated though. I have some caballero minis for my normans, do you know if any shield transfers fit them well?
@@bloodsalt sure mate, its all about the size they were printed at. I had mine printed a similar soze to the Victrix Normans, the shields are almost identical. The transfers from LBMS for vivtrix Normans will work fine, or juat use Victrix shields thats what i did for my last unit 👍 Think i compare the shields in my video on the Caballero minis for size. Hope that helps 😁
@@7thson726 aye I remember you mentioning it in the video, I'll give it a rematch, thank you buddy
That’s a great collection mate, they will certainly look awesome on the table 😁👍
First game in two weeks, I'm so excited. Im putting together some small field cannons for each division to celebrate
You've made a lot of progress very quickly and they look great
Thankyou brother, really means alot!
Absolutely gorgeous force! Ordered a small 100 years English force, very excited to start!
Thanks for watching. Ah great news about the HYW army! Will you be posting some progress videos?
I love this huge armies.
Thankyou bro. Your previous videos have kicked me into turnip28. I have sprues on order 🤣
@@bloodsalt thanks 😊😊 #turnip28
Outstanding!
Thanks so much for the kind words 🤘
Cracking job they look amazing...subbed
Thanks for the support brother 🙏 really keeps me going!
Lovely looking army, beautifully done
Dom! Big fan of yours, I appreciate the kind words, it really means a lot
beautiful! :)
Thankyou bro, I'm glad you think so :D
Great looking project!
Thank you brother, a chap from my local group is basing his Lancastrians. Should have a good scrap soon!
Absolutely fantastic! That's some fine work there. What's next on the table? Looking forward to seeing more.
Very kind words, thank you brother! I have been trying to 3D print 6mm/10mm/15mm Early Imperial Romans to a decent painting standard. Starting at 6mm and then eventually settling on 15mm sadly they have all turned out pretty crap.
I really wish I could recreate the scenario from the Hail Caesar rulebook. I fear its far too much work though needing a full 32 divisions done for both Roman and Briton tribes
Looking fantastic there mate. Im in the process of making both Lancastrian and Yorkist forces. Slowed down abit but next lot will probably be a scottish pike as you yourself hve done. Trouble is I keep getting side tracked. 28mm timber framed buildings , 21 st panzer vein 20mm, ecw bloody minis and a viking army. Must stay focused, yeah like thats gonna happen ha ha. Keep up the good work with the vids too.
Thanks for the support! im in exactly the same boat as you, my computer desk is covered in different scales and eras! I just cant seem to stay focused on one army. First world problems I guess.
ECW is a big histroy passion of mine, its taking all my willpower to NOT splash out on a lot of boxes.
@@bloodsalt Good luck my will power sucks ha ha. At least the timber buildings can be used on WOTR and ECW. Im contemplating more 20mm vehicles and WOTR figures right now. Decisions Decisions.
@@garybeardsworth4995 WOTR all the way I say! 😅
Beautiful so much testosterone in this army
Great painting job! Are there any army lists for this period (using Hail Caesar Rules)?
7th Son has done some homebrew rules for the War of the Roses (link here drive.google.com/file/d/1HnpuftP-twuCg1eUN2GZdxM8sTYVDbqj/view?usp=sharing )
@@bloodsalt thx
which material did you use to make and later paint on the banners and flags? impressive work! I'm starting my own yorkist force so this really motivates me.
I’m so pleased to hear you’re getting into WotR!
So the banners were actually just from the Perry box cut out and glued on, but I had to tidy the edges up with a little paint to match (as when you glue the two sides you’ll always end up with a white paper border on one’s side).
After tidying up the line, a generous coat of anti shine varnish spray helps it blend in. Let me know how your army comes along :)
Completely unrelated question, but is there a flag for sir francis lovell? I am doing a war of the roses project myself and i was looking to put him in a unit of foot men at arms. Lovely video man!
I found that the history of lesser nobles is sort of hazy as to what their banners were like, BUT there is his crest here and you can pretty much guess what it would have looked like. Looks like you might be doing this flag by hand though, so braver man than me! XD
@@bloodsalt Well thanks for the information man!
7th Son sent us here, you've earned yourself a sub.
PS - what's that excellent drumming soundtrack in the background?
Aye he's very kind for the shout out. My jump into historical wargaming only came about because I thought his battle reports looked hella fun.
The track is called war drums by Kyle-Preston 🤘
