Kayali fragrances do not sound like they're for me. I hear too many conflicting reviews about this fragrance line. When I have to keep thinking about a fragrance, it's a no for me right off the bat. Those type of fragrances do not grow on me. Fragrances have to be love at first sniff for me. I appreciate your review Shaughnessy. I want to try out Devotion.
They look like body creams online but they are actually Bakhoor (perfume infused wood chips) for burning. Thank you for sharing your first impressions! Always love watching your reviews! ❤
Lira is simply amazing...so warm, sweet and beautiful. D&G Devotion is nice but has nooooothing on Lira. However, Julianna's Perfumes has a wonderful inspired perfume for Lira...Im enjoying it so much and I'm enjoying the price even more. Lol 😅
I’m thinking the price point of the Oudgasm collection is due to the use of Oud. I guess we’ll see when the next collection comes out! I love Oud! My favorite is Cafe Oud followed by Tobacco Oud.

The opening smells like a kitchen lemon to me and then it dries down to something similar to dolce garden which I also don’t like. I’m happy for the people that love it and my wallet is happy too.
I wanted to love the vanilla oud but I just couldn’t do it. I had to return it to Sephora yesterday. 🤦🏽♀️ it smelled like the vanilla royale one that I didn’t like either. But I love silk santal.
Not even gone lie I’d return all of those Kayali scents lol. I want that devotion though 😍 the bottle is stunning. I’m sitting here with the scent on my skin & it smells GOODT. I just bought the travel size though.
That D&G devotion perfume smells nice to me. This to me smells like I want choo by jimmy choo just add a deeper and warm touch to it and the Vince Camuto scent but I can't remember which one or the name but the one that has that warmth to it that would be good for fall. Enjoyed hearing your review on all fragrances and I don't mess with oud either, it always seems to overcome the rest notes.
Love your full review on all of these fragrances. I am now kind of interested in the new Dolce & Gabbana scent. That's nice to know that Devotion might smell similar to Lira, which I have already. Also, from the new Kayali release, I really love Vanilla Oud.
I picked up Devotion over the weekend and I really like it so far. I put it away to macerate so when the winter hits it will be even better. Now for the oud’s it sounds like vanilla or cafe will be worth a try for me. I have vanilla Royale that I love to layer with BBW Midnight Amber Glow so not sure I will need either. TFS!!
Hi Shaughnessy, I tried the D&G on skin at Sephora and loved the opening, it smelled like froot loops. However, the dry down smelled like dirty grass on me. I'll pass. I sampled Valentino Voce Viva Intensa and Voce Viva because of you. I love Voce Viva Intensa.
I noticed the notes of both perfumes are similar, but the Valentino smells like pee on me. My store doesn't have a tester of D&G so now I'm scared to blind buy.
@@shellisa04 it seems that we may have opposite skin chemistry, because the Voce Viva Intensa and even Voce Viva are okay on my skin. Soooo, I would test D&G Devotion, it might be the opposite on you.
Why do the people who run Fragrantica always get the notes wrong? They should strive for accuracy. If Dolce & Gabbana say candied citrus, list candied citrus, not candied lemon. Sheesh. Love your videos!
What is interesting is I find geranium in more “masculine “ scents….interesting because I have seen geranium in a lot of the BBW men’s collection scents
Oud fragrances smell good but to me most lean masculine so i just prefer it in my candles not on my person lol I've never smelled it in a frangrance that I wanted to wear
I may try devotion I haven't seem any bad reviews and I don't own any DG fragrances. I'm not an oud fan nor have I found anything of kayali that pulls me in. I do love vanilla tho I may try it. That tobacco no thanks😂

Hi sis I have the tobacco our I am a huge fan of smoky woody scents but I want to get the 10 ml of the cafe our cause I like coffee and I like rose so I hope the rose our is good but I will give it a try and if I like it I will eventually get the big bottle ❤

Vanilla Oud reminds me of Eilish. Not as sweet, but in the same family. They’re cousins lol. It’s better suited as a home fragrance for me. I would really like it as a candle, so I might pick up the perfume oud wood chips when there is a sale.

REALLY LIKE THE KAYALI OUD VANILLA THAT IS WORTH A FULL SIZE BOTTLE IN MY OPINION
I love oud, personally. I'm interested in all four of these. I'm not sure about the geranium though. I don't tend to like that in fragrances.

oh my gosh!!! I really like Devotion, but now I realize that Kitchen Lemon scent you mentioned. Still enjoy it, but much prefer Lira🥰

Same exact thoughts I had. I only ordered travel sizes and will not repurchase.. I absolutely hate the vanilla royale sugared Patchouli.
My final thoughts will be determined when I wear it on my skin. So we will see!
