I am from the North of Spain (Asturias) but when I hitchhiked my whole country, the city of Sevilla took my breath away. The people, the beautiful girls, the buildings and the overall vibe was just superb. Thank you for such a beautiful and accurate video!
Just got back from Spain, went to Barcelona, Sevilla and Madrid. Seville was by far my favorite. Lively city which you can easily walk to almost anywhere.
I debating this exact same itinerary for this June. WOuld you have left out Barcelona or Madrid and stayed closer to one of those cities or were you content with those 3?
I studied abroad in Sevilla back in 2009 (before the Mushroom wooden structure existed) and lived in Triana. Fell in love with the city and would highly recommend the city to anybody who is going to Spain. I am glad she highlighted Triana, its one of the most unique parts of Sevilla with the narrow streets and restaurants.
everything about this vlog is perfect! i think your music choice at the alcazar was really great, to show that aspect of the moorish influence too! seville is so georgeous! ive never been, but i think its the prettiest city in spain :)
Thank you so so much! one of my college boys is doing a study abroad there and two of his bros and I are going to spend a week there- your video is perfect! I'm taking notes and making plans. I have questions too!!!
Travelling to Sevilla next week. Excellent video. I have created my own itinerary but this has made it so much easier finding out the some top Tapas spots from someone who studied there and gives a real sense of the neighbourhoods.
Well done young lady, you did an excellent job! Your enthusiasm is infectious... thank you so much!! I will use many of your suggestions next week with my wife! Ciao!
I just found your channel and I absolutely love it. Actually, on the front of my laptop there was a picture of a beautiful castle and it asked if I liked it and of course I said yes and I wanted to know where the location of the picture was and it said Seville Spain. I've never heard of that before (not Seville). It's so beautiful there and I loved how you captured the essence there (new subbie!!!). Maybe one day I hope to visit there. It's sooo beautiful there. Thanks so much for sharing.
Ok I tried spinach with chickpeas specifically on your recommendation and wow it IS really good. I expected textures to be really bad but it was very good. Great recommendation for something I literally never would have tried on my own
I love your vlog so much and I had to watch again and again. We are planning to travel there from Canada this October 2023. Thanks for the great info about the tapas. I recorded all your recommendations. Great job on overall video. Perfect music.
nice video, lots of great info..... but not sure I would consider Seville to be one of the most "under-rated" places on earth. It been on list after list for decades. Anyway....i will be heading back to Andalucia next week , cant wait!
Hi, your videos are great! Your road trip video through Portugal is the reason my fiancée and I are making a stop in Pinhao. We're going to be road-tripping through Portugal and Southern Spain for 20 days in July. We're stopping in Seville for 3 nights, and this video is confirming that we are making a great decision to stay here :)
We are going to Spain and Portugal next year. We arriving at Madrid taking the speed train to Sevilla that day. Thanks for all the places to eat and visit. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU
thanks a lot for your so nice informative video which has helped me a lot to know there more, thank you :). I can recommend to visit Iran too like Shiraz Pink Mosque (Nasir al-Mulk Mosque) and many other historical places there. I think it helps to know from where a lot of architecture has come from ;)
Great video. My Flamenco teachers via zoom are in Triana. My dream is to spend 1-2 months there and study with them. Any ideas on how I can rent an affordable apt by the month in Triana? I am an older dancer so prefer a quiet location.
Hey Crosby, I’m heading to Seville for a few nights tomorrow. I have written down the places highlighted in the video. Just curious if you had more tips to beat the summer heat and for a solo traveller?
What hotel you recommend to stay or apartment in Seville I’m thinking to go either Santa Cruz or Macarena which ones better to walk around I’m in a visa right now flying in on Monday
This is a very well done video. I envy you for being able to do a study abroad semester here. Quick question: What is the location that briefly focus on in 8:41 called? Please let me know when you get a chance. Thank you in advance. Last, but not least, if I had to pick between exploring Triana during the day versus the evening (post 10 pm), any thoughts on which one is better (assuming I cannot do both)? Thank you once again.
Hi Crosby, I am visiting Seville next week. Could I visit the Alcazar and Cathedral in one day, or two different days? Which one would you recommend? Thank you in advance.
We are going there in late March. What do you think the weather will be like? I read that it rains a lot that time of year. Have you been to the Terraza Atalaya Torre observation tower or hotel?
Hello!! My boyfriend and I will go to Seville for his birthday! Do you have any restaurants suggestions for his birthday dinner? And a favourite bar on a Sunday night? Thank youuuu
Check across the river where the second universal Expo was held in 1992. They converted the huge island into a large area of pavilions and I believe that there is a theme park. The water park is away from town. You guys can also rent kayaks in the river. There are a lot of other atraction for kids, they just opened a huge shopping mall that i think is called Lago (is near the betis soccer stadium). There are so many things to do in town, Sevilla has by far the most shopping mall and shopping centers in the entire country, it is absurd. You would be tired and exhausted of going and visiting, this city is a paradise for a traveller.
Hi! I’m heading to Barcelona and Seville in September. Do we need to make restaurant reservations? Any suggestions on what to do on a Sunday in Seville?
Well. The Maria Luisa Park usually be greeny and lush. And the Alcázar gardens have a high garden manage with a wide squads of gardeners that works every morning to Keep ready. Temperatura todavía por los 30 - 25 'c.
Three or four days. Its let make a short journey to Cadiz, Ronda or more close destination as Carmona, that it's the village that you expect when imagine Spain.
Great video and really insightful! I've written down the tapas bars you recommended! Could you recommend any bars/clubs/roof top bars? I'm heading here in August with 3 friends and we would like to party a little to!
Yes! Pura Vida Terraza is a nice classy rooftop bar overlooking La Giralda. For bars, go anywhere in Alameda (Eureka is my fav!) and for clubs, Casino, Monasterio, and Utopia we’re my go tos!
Hello! I'm a french student and I have to choose between Madrid and Sevilla for my Erasmus but I cannot make a choice. Which city is the best to study in for a year?
In my opinion, Seville wins hands down. Madrid is a wonderful city with lots to offer but you couldn't possibly regret a year in Seville. Good luck with your decision and studies.
hi! my family is going to madrid and seville in a couple weeks! I know its really hot then, so would you recommend day trip to cordoba or malaga from seville, or any other day trips? (is a day trip to malaga even possible or too far...)thank youuuu loved the video!
Hi!! So fun! I HIGHLY recommend going to Cordoba. La Mezquita is truly one of the most incredible places I've ever been (I recommend getting a tour or reading about it beforehand because the history is a huge part of it.) I've never been to Malaga but have heard amazing things! Another great day trip is to Cádiz - a beautiful beach town and the oldest city in Europe!
Definitivamente. Córdoba es lo mejor desde Sevilla a solo una hora en bus . Y 40 minutos en tren (ave,). La mezquita es algo fuera de lo común en el mundo!! Literalmente fuera de lo común
Flamenco is much more popular in Madrid and Granada (that's where I've gone to shows) but there are plenty of flamenco places in Seville that you can find!
In morocco there is similar architecture with different type of walls but with more details and places, the moroccan title From Fes and Tetouan is still used the houses, gardens, ....
