Bill Boggs regretted for a number of years hiring and running the Downey show. He has been apologizing for that show for decades Thats an awful stain that he carries. Gumbel was horrified that an educated man like Boggs could run a garbage show like that. Lucie Arnaz has bad mouthed bill boggs for years in her nightclub act and during her personal appearances. She really tears him up. I guess they were an item between her marriages She also threw shade on him for creating Downey show and being a piece of sh$& boyfriend. A Woman scorned.

Loved Morts show....funny coincidence....last night I randomly put the movie Eyes of Laura Mars on, and in one of the first scenes there is Bill Boggs. Didn't realize you were in that movie...very nice. You've done a lot of things in this business. Cheers!
