I am Tristan, I am building a 400 SF cabin at the back of my house. I plan on doing it all by myself. I think you also need to seal the grout to keep the clean look and make it more waterproof.
Yes! I totally forgot to show it, but when I finished the walls, I did seal the whole shower

Great job with this custom shower project! Your patience is paying off.
But after watching this series, I've come to the conclusion to NEVER attempt this myself and I'd buy some mass produced shower insert.

Nice work! How much did the thin-set and tiles affect the slope? All three of my bathrooms tiling was done professionally and it’s a 3D mosaic with tiles all at different heights… fortunately it’s not so with anything that needs draining but still irritating!
That’s a good point, I thought about doing pebbles originally but figured it could be a challenge for drainage. The mosaic are perfectly flat so they’re following the pre slope I had poured so I’m sure it’ll drain good.
