It's weird, you never notice or appreciate sounds that things make, isn't it strange how we don't ever appreciate sound, besides listening to music? Unlike visuals, where we appreciate artists, and then we also appreciate simple things that look "pretty", but never do we take the time to realize the sound quality of an object.
I also do this. I'll tap or scratch on an object and think to myself. Damn this would make for some good ASMR

I've been watching ASMR videos for about a year. I've noticed and people around me notice as well, I tap everything now. I have long nails as well and I'm constantly doing this. Or if I'm with someone who knows how much I watch these videos, I take what's in my hands and tap on them in the persons ear when they're not looking. Followed with 'Just imagine hearing this for an hour'. I usually get eye rolls and laughs. XD
That's great! I also tap on random things.
ComfortablyNumb me too everywhere I go I get random objects then put then to my ear and make tapping noises and rubbing so I don't know what's happening to me but I love it

same thing here. sometimes i just randomly walk up to something and start tapping on it. i also tap on things in my hand too. Except i don't have longer nails, though. its like watching ASMR turns you into an ASMRtist.

I have a request, albeit not sure how likely it is something easy to accomplish. I lost all hearing in my left ear when I was 13. I adore your videos so much so if one doesn't already exist (if it does, I demand the link), would it be possible to make an asmr video targeting a specific ear?
I know that there are two videos out there I saw, one for right side and one for left and if I'm not mistaken it was by jellybeanASMR but just try to look up asmr left side or right side and you'll probably find it, sorry no link. :/

you know, depending on the phone you have, you can change the balance of the sound in your headphones meaning you can have it all completely on one side?

I lost all hearing in my left side as an infant, there's a few asmr channels that have made a video targeting one specific ear

This video was pretty good! I think I've suggested before to turn up the gain on the mic and the volume down? It would pick up the sounds more easily and makes for better hand tapping. Good work!

First, I want to thank you for this. It is a lot of time and effort to put into something to bring someone else joy. You seem to have a knack for this.
Two parts of feedback:
1) avoid making the sounds directly in line with the ear canal (Only happened a handful of time early in the video). This, along with bringing the sound too far forward can (it does in myself) the primal desire to protect vital organs (like ear canal and eyes). The moments it did directly travel in the ear, it caused momentary discomfort. By no means a slight at you, but a personal observation.
2) Try traveling the sound sources higher and lower behind the head. From what I can deduce it is the same feeling of anticipation, the building of excitement, that I am responding to. The anticipation is that of someone that would be rubbing my shoulders or mussing my hair. I know there where I was hoping it would travel higher or lower.
I know, for myself, I enjoy the simple touch when I am allowed to relax. I enjoy it so much that I am always afraid to passing out or feel like I am taking advantage of someone; as I feel I am disproportionately enjoying someone company.
So again, thank you for this video, and I hope my feedback is clear and helpful enough to you.

Please do some more trigger assortments with spray bottles! I love water and spray sounds but most videos have spray bottles that are really abrasive to the ears. Love all your videos and have got me through so many rough nights.

I like a lot your usage of the 3Dio to make sounds all around our head. Thanks a lot for your work ^^ But don't you think the 3D effect will be more accurate if the sound of the left ear of your mic is the sound that we can heard in our left ear? (same for the right) I know that the difference can be subtle, but still :)
