Nice work Mirock. I'm glad you didn't put any sticky oil on your brass when you knurled it. Doing it dry is the correct approach. Festool should put you on their payroll. 😃🇦🇺
Mirock!! You are my favorite builder to watch! Thanks for making and sharing your videos. I know it takes a lot longer to do your work when you record it, but it is so enjoyable to watch you work. This is another amazing piece of art!
Okay you got me subscribed after the usage of the machinist metal cutting tool on the lathe being used on wood. And such a simple fix to truly update your tool. Great work. Now I'm off to binge watch some of your other videos.
Keep this up and by next year festool won't need a design department. They will just watch these videos and tell their manufacturing division to copy it in plastic.
Hello Mirock. That is a excellent work, besser than the original festool tools. Congratulations and thank you for your partage. Antony Gallo, the french amateur.
Ah, they correspond well but exist summary play gear on bolt and bolt into plastic body. I didnt try to avoid it and let them some freedom. It is possible to remowe all play if change rough bolt for turned one with accurate shaft diameter and fix it in body with some epoxy. If I will do one more set maybe I`ll do it, this is just quick improvization. But I don`t plan to sell it and probably it will work further in this condition. This play isn't make any harm. Next time I rather change full construction for more perfect than will improve this one. For my current needs this one works much better than previous.
Awesome idea! But WAY to over engineered? But that's not why this was made, it was made because someone thought 🤔 I know what I can do to improve this and had a go!😎👍 And they succeeded spectacularly 😁(in my opinion 😏)!
As long as they are shavings, wood does not matter than metal, in any case you are a genius. Поки це стружка, дерево не має значення для металу, у будь-якому випадку ви геній.
Clever engineered. High standard craftmanship.
Genious at work. Few years and festool will adobt the idea.
Your attention to detail & craftsmanship is fantastic. Beautifully made. Thank you 😊

I tried oil once before, and dry way appeared better, at least in my experience
I recently bought a circular saw and was thinking to do the same thing. You did a incredible work!

A pure joy to watch!
Thanks for sharing this incredible peace of craftsmanship 👊🏻
How can ANYONE dislike this video?! Everything you make is so so clever, and beautiful as well!
Only the people that have no talent in life thats who ..This guy is amazing .
Unbelievable talent! I wouldn't even be able to do this, and if i could, I would have messed up a zillion times!
This is just one more proof of your engineer genius! Well done, Vlad!
My jaw dropped. Killer engineering.

You are a wizz. I'm happy that I have one of your creations.
Absolutely genius as always. You are so incredibly talented. Really amazing.
wow, nice job, especially those brass knobs, look like the titanium ones they put on view cameras, beautiful
Well, there goes that warranty!. AWESOME job.
Руки у вас золоті, ну і інструмент - достойний!
Both beautiful and functional!
Bentornato, grande maestria come sempre.
Insane idea, if you can afford a ts55 you can afford a table saw. This is a Frankenstein monstrosity. Nice lathe work though
Flaunted if you got it! Love it the Bling upgrade!
I promised myself either a Lathe or CNC for my next birthday!
Keep this up and by next year festool won't need a design department. They will just watch these videos and tell their manufacturing division to copy it in plastic.
Privet. Some - heavy duty maslo - and it shines. Excellent.
Fantastic up grade bro, very top work ❣️

Wow, that's cool and really something. Haven't seen this before.

Jewelery for your tools
😂

Owns a fine lathe I wish I had, uses a clamped drill just like me.... Mirock, Mirock, I know this was just to trigger enraged comments! 😉

Amazing as always ..
Great work!👌
Залипательное видео! Класс 👍🏿
Ну наконец-то...
Very cool video !
I like it, nice upgrade. Will version 2 have smoother gear engagement?
Smoother?
@@mirockswoodshop the movement seemed jerky, like the rack and pinion weren't meshing properly. Or is that from the weight of the tool?
@@mirockswoodshop I'm talking about the motion at 15:37

Если б не процесс создания своими руками, то подумал бы, что Veritas сделал такую приспособу для фестула
Molto molto figo 😎
Классная работа! Немного рывками перемещается, форма зубьев шестерен неидеальная?
Потому что так задумано. Шариковый механизм

How much it move by one tooth? Like a 5 mm or more?
About 1.2mm would be good 0.1mm but here task of clicking not for step measuring just for prevent move down
@@mirockswoodshop good job mate, I like it
Alternate title: Let’s double the cost of a Festool track saw.
