Grinding RP is pretty boring and just takes a lot of time, most don't wanna do it even if they have the skill...Especially with this season where your forced to play boring storm point.

Also you can also tell by the jerky movement that he is a aceu/faide wannabe which means he is most likely mid to high diamond rank if he actually played enough of it. If he played with a squad he would easily be masters.

Because rank doesn’t matter. You can rat your way to masters. I’m D3 and I’ve smoked all but two of my masters friends in 1v1s. I’m aggressive even in ranked and often times I’ll end the game with a lot of kills but still low placement. Worst I’ve ever had was 3300 damage and 10 kills and still only finished 10th place. Most people I know who’ve hit masters get one or two KP off rip then sit all game.
As a console player, most console players suck man. But you and me probably don't see them because if you're pretty decent the matchmaking will only match you against decent-amazing players. Gold lobbies are literal AI running around.

That person just doesn't play ranked. I'm not saying they are master or pred level but that person is not an actual silver players. When I don't play ranked for a season and start in Bronze I roll through bronze, silver, and gold lobbies and that is definitely not the quality of player that gets stuck in silver. @@chiizuu752 yeah it mostly annoys me because I like this video concept but they are making it impossible for Reps and Hal by not doing a better job of picking video clips. Some of them aren't even of ranked games. I'm going to send in my best clip of clutching up a 1v3 to win a game using tap strafing, wall jumps, insanely fast armor swaps, outsmarting the enemy like they are a 3 year old and then tell them I'm Silver 2 lmao. Or a clip of me whiffing all of my wingman and PK shots and then tell them I'm masters :D
I saw a video clip of a cracked Wraith who was in silver. This was on console. I think some people who are actually really at the good, but are low in the ranks, probably just don't play as much. I think that will actually be the case this season more than ever
This shows a lot about Apex, actually: Rank does not always mean skill. At 5:00 they both agreed console = high rank, but neither guessed masters. The masters players I meet on PC, just by being in diamond, are absolutely disgusting. Whatever these clips were, even I'm gonna say their ranks don't actually make sense. That first clip was like a silver two at best.
I like "GUESS YOUR RANK" series but the clips these guys are selecting are not doing any justice to the guys ranks, most of these clips are stupid if you check the rank of the player
Their right tho, you need way more skill to reach D4{4 example} on PC than on Consoles. Reasons being Console has a way way bigger player base than PC Most of the console players are casuals people usually don't play on PC casually.

I approve of these videos. Even pros don't know whom and what people are from clips. I actually was more accurate than them(probably overthought the clips). I got the masters rank wrong as they did, definitely didn't seem like a masters ranked game there. Enemies, the movement etc.. To me was a top gold or lower tier Plat level game
i think its fair to say that this sterile, grey room combined with badly chosen clips are not really up to the production standard u guys should have as tsmftx. interesting format, great guys and chemistry, but the production value... pepehands
That Octane on the high sens had to have been playing without aim assist. There's no way you play on console and do whatever that was. Also if you can't control high sens, don't play it, that was tragic.
this concept is really good but id suggest if you got the amount of points based on how away your guess was from the original rank and the person with the lowest points wins. for example if a persons rank was gold 1 and you guessed plat 3, you would get 2 points since you were 2 ranks away, and the person with the lowest total points wins. This was its very unlikely that the game ties and there is a lot more at stake...
