Birthday Celebration in Sir Baniyas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Sir Baniyas Island is reachable by boat departing from Jebel Dhanna Jetty in Western Region of Abdu Dhabi. There are 3 Anantara hotels in the island and I stayed in Al Yamm Villa Resort located in the beachfront of Sir Baniyas Island. The property offers a pristine beach with serene atmosphere facing the dazzling Arabian Gulf. Wildlife safari is one of the many activities that guests may enjoy to do in the island. Guests may also access the amenities offered in the other nearby Anantara hotels.

Yes it is a nice destination for family getaway. I booked thru booking.com and paid 3k aed including taxes for an overnight stay during summer season. The room rate goes up on winter time. I suggest you check the property's website also for price comparison. If you want to go for safari, book it with the hotel ahead of time. I booked it when I reached the hotel and I can go only for morning safari as the afternoon was already fully booked. Have a wonderful staycation!

I stayed in Al Yamm Villa and the package I booked was with free breakfast only. The African dinner located in Al Sahel villa was with additional charges.

Yes the`island is beautiful. Abu Dhabi never closed its border. However, visitors have to follow certain protocols.
