- Hello everyone and thank you for joining me today, I’m back from sunny Queensland and had a wonderful time. This week I have completed the Claude Woven pants by Style Arc in a lovely Japanese wool suiting.

I have a very busy few months ahead packing and moving but looking forward to a move to country Victoria.

You could not have come home at a more freezing time🥶. It has been so cold. Your qld trip looks amazing. I really want to go there one day. Still haven't properly visited qld. Yes it's definitely jacket making time. And great weather to be inside sewing 😊. Any excuse😂. Have a lovely weekend. The sun has decided to make an appearance this morning. Lovely video Deb, thank you. When we were over visiting Australia from the UK back in the late 1990s my husband and I travelled widely around Victoria and we loved, loved, loved the countryside side there. Your move sounds exciting,so on with the clearing and packing eh ! 😆 Looking forward to hearing about the move And the sewing now 😊x

Your pants look great - The fabric looks like good quality and they fit a dream. I have thought of buying fabric from Homecraft and they do send samples. The whales are already up here in Hervey Bay (which is quite early).
Thanks Marlene, I have purchased a few times from Homecraft, it can be hit and miss, but lately the fabric has been excellent quality. We saw people in boats slowly following the whales, I’m sure it would be a wonderful site up close. Have a great sewing week, Deb 🪡🧵💕

Good Luck with your move- I downsized last year - it was really hard work sorting out an accumulation of 20 years of life. Got through it all in the end. Beautiful jacket and stunning views of the Queensland beach. Allegedly summer in UK but cold here too - and wet!! Lynne😊

Hi Deb love your gorgeous jacket and pants. Can i ask about another pattern the Genoa skirt - its my first style arc. The waistband seems strange to me only being stitched down at the side? I ended up top stitching the whole thing down. I just wondered what you did? Its such a nice shaped skirt ! Regards Kaaren ❤
Hi Kaaren, I did only stitch mine at the sides but remember thinking it was odd and if it flipped out I would sew it down all the way around, as I noticed Kristen sewed hers down all the way around. I’m glad you like the skirt it is a lovely flattering shape. Have a great sewing week, Deb 🪡🧵💕
