Thank you for sharing!! I have a Cricut Maker and for whatever reason never thought about using it to make labels. I can't wait to try with the Cricut and the other options you shared.
Because I don't have all the required "things" to download designs, etc., the only way I can make labels- of the four mentioned here - is the first one where you stamp the letters on the 'tape.' TY for sharing these ideas with us, though - very helpful.
Thank you so much for sharing, especially the fabric printing option (I had no idea you could order small quantities!) and the cutting machine option. Creative juices are flowing 😄
This is brilliant! I've only used bulky options like faux leather custom printed labels from Etsy, or time consuming options like hand embroidery. Brilliant! Thank you!!!
thanks for sharing. I like No 4, the bonus, since I just started with vinyl. What size/height wouzl you recommend including the part I need for the seems of the label?
Oh no! Seems like my fabric design have closed down the shop, not sure if for the holiday or permanently. Is there another alternative for fabric printing?
You can sew letters with free motion stitching with most machines. I do it with my regular (older New Home) sewing machine by dropping the feed dogs (look for a slide button or switch on your machine to do this) and using a darning foot. With the feed dogs dropped, you can move the fabric and sew in any direction. I learned this from Stitches By Julia RUclips channel. It's easy and fun to do!

Glad you liked it!
If you have the Cricut Maker you can cut fabric on it so you can print and cut the labels right on that.
That could be an option for people with those tools
Thanks, I did not think of making vinyl ones. I have brother scan n cut and will be doing that today, thanks
Have fun!
You could also use the cutting machine to draw your label either on fabric or on some kind of fabric tape, using a permanent marker or pen.
Yes, if your machine has that option

Lots of great ideas. I’m going to try using my Cricut. Will it stand up to multiple washings?
It should stand up to washing as well as any other heat transfer - if you're using them on the front of the shirt, this is the same.
I can’t wait to try that on my circuit. Thanks
Have fun!
Great video. I very much like how to have a variety of ways . Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!

If you're asking about my custom fabric ones, I list my measurements in the post I linked in the video description.
@@Mellysews sorry I missed to check it
Thank you so much ! It is very use full !!

Hey for the third method how did you print the label and what kind of material did you use? Is this all being done with the sewing machine?
I'm confused by the question. I mention the specific fabric shop and material I used to print the blue labels in the video?
It’s a little ambiguous, I had to rewatch. But I believe you order it and they send it to you already printed
The link isn’t working and so i tried to type it in google but it says it’s permanently closed down 😢
Not sure what you typed but the post is here mellysews.com/make-clothing-tags-3-options/
Thank you so much. Do you think the heat transfer would iron on to the twill tape?
Probably, but I'd try a sample first.
I didn't see the brand and size of the stamps or the twill or the link to the ink. Would you mind pointing it out? :) 😀 Thank you for sharing.
The blog post linked in the video description has all the details.
What did you use for the material I heard ribbon but didn't hear other great video ty
I'm not sure which material you're asking about, but I linked a post with more details and sources in the video description.
@@Mellysews thanks
Does the vinyl stay long?
It stays at least as long as the print on the "tag less" shirts I've purchased.
Thx hun 💞
Thanks for watching!
How about iron on transfer paper?
That's basically the same as the iron on vinyl.

What size are your labels.
🤷🏻♀️ it's been a while since I made them and I don't have any out to measure. Maybe 5/8 inch by 2 inch
3:10 How do you change the color of the Fabric you order from here?
You add whatever colors you want to the design before you upload it and they print it on the fabric.
what fabric did you use?
Quilting cotton
Ty, very useful

Can you sew with a regular machine that does not have letters
I don't understand your question. If your machine doesn't have letter stitches, how would you do them?
@@Mellysews yes mine doesn’t have letter stitches
So then you can't do that because your machine doesn't have the stitch.

Do u know how to make it an iron on???
You’d have to add wonder under or a similar two sided adhesive to the back.
@@Mellysews I really appreciate the reply!
