This ain’t gangster rap. This autobiographical. This is soul touching. This is God speaking through a vessel. People can say whatever they want when it comes to hip hop “evolving” but whatever we have today is no where near this pure and beautiful. Hip hop used to touch you deeply that even as a child you could feel the emotions of it. That’s just how powerful Tupac was for me. As a child I could feel the pain of the world and how we need to be better. I felt this at 4 yrs old.
Beautiful. I believe this master poet is with God, and hopefully has some answers. We're all just stumbling through this life, trying to figure it out. RIP 2Pac. You're still a legend.
The only one comparable to him I found is Sidhu Moose Wala. If you understand Punjabi you would never regret listening to him. He idolized 2Pac and even wrote an obituary for him just before he died. And he died the same way 2Pac did. Too young, as a legend and through gunshots 😌
Yup, this sure is right. That’s why I get kind of upset when older people hate on people like xxxtentacion, he’s doing the same thing tupac did just for a different generation
43. He had a huge impact on my teenage years. This man's music was the soundtrack to my life. I was crushed when he died. I couldn't believe some of the crip homies from around the block said he was just another "slob" ( a derogatory term for Bloods/Piru gang members) I couldn't believe my ears. Im Chicano and he moved more than just a simple banger. He spoke like a revolutionary. Damn.
Is there a heaven for me...? I was an emotionally bankrupt adolescent when I was listening to this song. Now, at the age of 40, am still the same man. Life is tough man, but hang in there. There is a heaven somewhere, I/we just haven't found it. Peace and light be with you. 🙏

My favorite track from this album. Almost prophetic… He knew he had done bad things and was set on a path to die young living the life he did, but he still couldn’t stop it or change course. He could only hope for mercy from God. RIP Tupac
This song makes me so emotional knowing that he did suffer through the years of his career with the government, police, & “close friends” that tried to paint him as a bad person when really he was woke smh.
So many people alive now going through the same we can all help. He was a great prophet but dont dwell on the person hear his message and do for those alive now.
“If I should die before I wake, grab a n**** and take me to heaven” this line hits me somewhere deep in my soul. It’s something I think about during prayer. 2pac was so vulnerable yet courageous. You could hear it in his voice.. he contemplated it every day. Rip.

got me thinking about how it would have been, had Pac made it in 1996. Marking the 25 th anniversary of one his deepest works. We will never forget the voice of change. The man who cared and inspired people around him. Rest in power,G!
Arguably his best song... Now I'm lost and I'm weary So many tears I'm suicidal so don't stand near me My every move is a calculated step, to bring me closer To embrace an early death, now there's nothing left There was no mercy on the streets, I couldn't rest I'm barely standing, bout to go to pieces, screamin' peace And though my soul was deleted, I couldn't see it I had my mind full of demons trying to break free They planted seeds and they hatched, sparking the flame Inside my brain like a match, such a dirty game No memories, just a misery Painting a picture of my enemies killing me, in my sleep Will I survive 'til the mornin' to see the sun Please Lord forgive me for my sins, cause here I come I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears Lord, I lost so many peers, and shed so many tears Lord knows I tried, been a witness to homicide
Arguably, it should've been one of 2PAC's most 'Critically Acclaimed' songs in 1995. Grammy Award worthy Hip-Hop. Not a single nomination. With such ingenious lyrical content by 2PAC. Yet, another potent beat produced by Shock G. This song remains influential to so many fans for over 25 years.

How can you compare this man to biggie or any other rapper he’s in a class of his own
My favorite track from this album. Almost prophetic… He knew he had done bad things and was set on a path to die young living the life he did, but he still couldn’t stop it or change course. He could only hope for mercy from God. RIP Tupac
Well said!!
Exactly said 🎯
This song makes me so emotional knowing that he did suffer through the years of his career with the government, police, & “close friends” that tried to paint him as a bad person when really he was woke smh.
pac light years ahead of his peers 🙏🏽
So many people alive now going through the same we can all help. He was a great prophet but dont dwell on the person hear his message and do for those alive now.
@Carlos Monteros Word.Pac was a dead man soon as he came out the womb.Sad that our Hebrew (Not AfricanAmerican) leaders.die early.
Facts!!
That's exactly my situation right now....
RIP Shock G, just learned he produced this song. Two legends gone. We love y'all
wow, always said this was a sick ass beat

OOOH… TUPAC, WE MISS YOU & YOUR REALISM SO MUCH. WHEN I LISTEN TO YOUR SONGS & VOICE, MY HEART JUST MELTS.
UNTIL JUDGEMENT DAY, R.I.P. MY LOVE. 🙏🙏🙏
This is one hell of a song. A poetic masterpiece I should say.
And the beat is hella good
This song should be in the Library of Congress IMO. It's Tupac's version of Van Gogh's self portrait
@@huey37 absolutely

“If I should die before I wake, grab a n**** and take me to heaven” this line hits me somewhere deep in my soul. It’s something I think about during prayer. 2pac was so vulnerable yet courageous. You could hear it in his voice.. he contemplated it every day. Rip.
One of 2pac’s best piece of poetry… absolutely transcendent 🙌🏽
Amen Amen
Lost my dad this year 😭😖🤧. I'm 29 years old..it's crazy to think all the times me and my dad listened to this song since I was born. I'm gonna miss you dad. These days aren't getting easier. I pray things get better. I love you. Keep watching over the family ❤️🙏🏾
Pac died at 25!
But it seems like he lived 50 years, because he made so much of his young life

*30, it seemed like he lived 30 years.
It’s been 25 years since this album was released. Crazy.
Hip Hopp has greatly devolved since then
Exactly as long as he lived
And it still sounds so so good
Today rap is shit
I still renege purchasing this album when it came out, I was 15

28 years after his passing Pac is still the best rapper out
I really don’t understand how a human being could make a beautifully deep song like this.
Because this human went through it all from his childhood years to his death he never had an easy life so he wrote down his pain that was already premediated in his soul cause he knew they were many like him who could relate to what he was going through
"I shed so many tears; I suffered many years"
Le meilleurs rappeur
Dear Tupac, I hope this reaches you somehow. I have grown up listening to your legendary rhymes and by the time I grew up You Were Gone. I owe you the G hood which me and my homeboys stand for in Pakistan. I wish that the Almighty heavenly Lord of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (may peace be upon them all) have mercy on your soul...With great amount of love, respect and eyes full of tears from Pakistan...
ruclips.net/video/0meAZqGmAyA/видео.html new tupac music
aint the same listening as a child and now feeling every word as a man
Same I used to think the beat was trash
Dear Tupac, your songs have helped me so much in my life. Nothing hits closer than your music.
Absolutely. I still deal the lost Tupac and I’m 61. Rest in peace. One of my brothers resembled Tupac.
Pac was so ahead of his time it's been more than 25 years since he's been gone and his music is still being listened to
RIP to the goat
It is disturbing yet beautiful how you can hear his emotions through his raw voice.

Probably talking about Jada 😂
Im 60 tomorrow. Chicago Italian, moved to Az. PACs era. I feel blessed to have lived during that time. He was a genius, poet, THINKER.

@AlandosF it's more than rap too but facts
True
Dead prez
The worst part, is that this generation don’t know real rap. RIP 2pac gone but never forgotten
Hip-hop really is dead now
Facts
We got polo g j Cole kendrick lamar and we got ybn cordae and eminem and dr dre and ice cube and wu Chung tung
I'm 15 and I've been listening to this music since birth
Polo G will save the rap
Kendrick Lamar has never returned
We have trust on Polo G
Bro was only 25 when he passed .. that’s insane to think about.
Yet did soo much in that time
Intelligent YOUNG MAN
He was very intelligent, his songs made sense, like he was singing for the future.
@@Caleb2Random my favorite artist of all times and I was saying way back in the day that we would be the 1st generation of people sitting in rocking chairs listening to 2PAC. I’m just an old white lady. I introduced my 3 girls to him b/c he’s a genius.
I teach my kids the things he preached about.
First sentence has power attached to it, I fear no man but God!!🔥🔥🔥
Big🔥🔥🔥
BIG AMEN
got me thinking about how it would have been, had Pac made it in 1996. Marking the 25 th anniversary of one his deepest works. We will never forget the voice of change. The man who cared and inspired people around him. Rest in power,G!
R.I.P. SHOCK G AND TUPAC!!! REUNITED ONCE AGAIN!!! 😢
Rip
This is beautiful
🥺♥️ ⚫
Fr you know Pac was waiting to welcome him on the other side
No, Resting, asleep in the grave, waiting for the return.
A master piece! His greatest work. "Now I'm lost and im weary, I'm suicidal so don't stand near me".
Arguably his best song...
Now I'm lost and I'm weary
So many tears
I'm suicidal so don't stand near me
My every move is a calculated step, to bring me closer
To embrace an early death, now there's nothing left
There was no mercy on the streets, I couldn't rest
I'm barely standing, bout to go to pieces, screamin' peace
And though my soul was deleted, I couldn't see it
I had my mind full of demons trying to break free
They planted seeds and they hatched, sparking the flame
Inside my brain like a match, such a dirty game
No memories, just a misery
Painting a picture of my enemies killing me, in my sleep
Will I survive 'til the mornin' to see the sun
Please Lord forgive me for my sins, cause here I come
I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears
Lord, I lost so many peers, and shed so many tears
Lord knows I tried, been a witness to homicide
"Drive by taking lives little kids die," Like the kids dying more rapidly now because of the defunded police in NY!!!😔😔
its a litte funny to miss someone who died before you were born #kingpac

Can someone plz explain “reality is wrong. Dreams are for real” to me like what does that mean
He didn't need death row. He should have stuck it out with Shock G and Johnny J, made a few more albums with interscope, and then did his own thing!
Wasn’t expecting this, but im glad it happened. Long live Pac
