  • @chrispygingerpie
    @chrispygingerpie 10 лет назад +5

    This has to be one of the best demonstrations of Chapman Guitars and also Victory amplifiers! My reasons for this is the fact that it a lot more of a natural raw sound, just coming from the video camera (obviously a good quality one). Shows that the amps and guitars don't need to have mics and to show off the guitars. Also other examples of the diversity of the Silverback! I really enjoyed this video and probably will buy a Chapman Guitar next time I am looking for a new guitar :)

    • @nickeveslage
      @nickeveslage 10 лет назад +1

      That was my first time playing through the amp, and it pretty much instantly became my new favorite. Diversity for days!

    • @chrispygingerpie
      @chrispygingerpie 10 лет назад

      All the amps in the Victory range sound awesome, I especially liked the video Rob did with Lee. As the range of tones are great! Your playing was top quality and showing yet more tones the Silverback was capable of, showing off the American styles.

      Letting the high e string ring while playing a melodic pattern on the b or g string. Easy enough perhaps, but it's something I haven't incorporated. Also, your fluid economy (if that makes sense) and precision are impressive.

    Hey Rob, have you ever thought/drawn up an idea for an ML-2 with either a Floyd Rose or a non-locking tremolo with a recessed cavity? Really debating buying an ML-2. but I don't need something with a string-thru-body fixed bridge, as I own two PRS Tremonti Standards with a fixed bridge, among 3 other guitars that have fixed bridges. Just an idea coming from someone who would love more options out of the ML-2, which looks like an awesome axe, cosmetically and playability wise.

    I do have to admit the Cap-10 sounded so much better with the Duncan's than the ML-1 with the stock pickups in. I know there is a quite a price difference but the sound difference is also big.

    Rob may have visited Willie's American Guitars in St.Paul, MN (plug) but it makes sense why not to film it. Wouldn't be very nice to fly all the way to the States on one shop's bill and then advertise for a different shop for free.
    Minneapolis is a very fun place to visit (but I hate the mall minus the log ride). It's always weird when someone of some notoriety goes someplace you have been many many times.
