My boss has one for 5 years now and i was really impressed with it, the chuck is only giving issues now, the batteries are still good and last between half a day and a day of drilling masonry holes for 5mmx40mm fisherplug holes and we even drill up to 12/13mm holes for role bolts and therefore i bought my own stanley cordless set. Comes with a 24month warranty and for a mid tier drill set it really is awesome
Hello Mark, This was an overall good video with many good details. That said, Today I was guided to your RUclips video by the comments you made on a drill sold on Takealot. You said you made a video on this drill if we wanted to see it, so here I'am.... but.... your telling this man your drill is brushless and is model number SCH20S2K -B9, but the drill I was looking at on Takealot is model number STDC18LHBK-B9 and is not brushless. I know that they are nearly the same, but in the future please don't tell people you reviewed an item, if you have not in fact reviewed that exact same item. I'm not saying you intended this to happen, but those are the model numbers involved. Thanks!! P.S. As an American transplant to South Africa who also has a RUclips channel. I know what it is to try and grow one. Hence, I subscribed.... "Cheers! and Bye ya Dankie...lol"
Is this Stanley SCH20C2K is an impact driver and a hammer drill? (can be use in driving a screw?, drilling in wood/metal? and be use in drilling in concrete?)
The Stanley in the review can be used to hammer drill into masonry - yes Wood and metal too and obviously can be used as a screwdriver - hope this helps
How are you man .. I want to ask you a question .... Why did you buy this edition and not buy the brushless edition ?? Because I like this version very much, but I am confused between this version and the brushless version, so I think that this version is very distinctive in terms of quality of manufacture, durability, aesthetics and the feature of the battery indicator .... So what do you recommend ... Thank you very much
Hi i like the look of this combie but how dse it compair to this. DEWALT DCD778M2T-SFGB 18V 4.0AH LI-ION XR BRUSHLESS CORDLESS COMBI DRILL. Im stuck between the two thanks and they look very simlar
Hi Zahir I have only used the Stanley for about 2 months now. But I have been using it almost on a daily basis and been doing hammer drilling mostly and haven’t had any problems.
I bought it here in Kenya and my question is how long does it take to drain the battery when drilling concrete,i tested it and it only did 7 holes using a 6mm masonary bit,its brand new and was fully charged
What is your thoughts, which is better to buy: Bosch GSB 180-li OR Stanley SCH20C2K? What is the pros and cons from each other? Thank you. (i need an experdt advise before i buy one from the two)
I would love to get my hands on all those drills to do a comparison... sorry I cant help but perhaps someone else on google has an answer for you - good luck
