Would have been an easy "yes" any other time, but all the cool stuff is releasing now that I'm broke this month. Such is the struggle of a collector. This is beyond radical, though.
Thanks for the feedback! I know $159 might seem high, but we're committed to delivering a top-quality, collector-grade piece. Every detail in Army Ant reflects premium craftsmanship, from injection-molded plastic to expert design and production at one of the world's top factories. Plus, Army Ant is a licensed collectible creation, so every sale directly supports the original creator, David Arshawsky, as well. This project has been a labor of love to bring a unique piece to collectors, and it's priced to ensure the best quality and to support the artist behind it. I hope that sheds some light on why the price is set this way!
@@treasuremonsterinc.8261 that's a fantastic response ❤ Looks amazing and next to Killer Bee, it already looks like it was always a part of the line! Heck, I've paid for for much, much less than this! I don't collect TMNT anymore but as a life time fan, I can appreciate this labour of love! Thanks for letting us see it 👍👍
I don't really have an intreat in the vintage TMNT (I gave you all my figures at PowerCon years ago), but I think this is really cool and I'm so glad that the vintage fans are getting a chance to own a part of history that almost wasn't a possibility. I really hope this funds and that everyone who wants one gets one and is able to enjoy it for many many years. Thanks for the video Dan 😎👍
I've been seeing this pop up around Instagram, so nice to get a better look at it. To me the camouflage paint deco makes it feel like a 2012 Turtle toy.
Can someone tell Playmates to reissue the original TMNT Blimp II? Not the 2000's one they tried portraying as the Blimp II, but remake the green glider and blowup blimp.
I didn't know about this and and thankful you let me know. Recently backed the second wave of 9 to 5 warriors and plan to do the same here. Keep talking about the indies!
@@treasuremonsterinc.8261I get it lol Ant i hero funny thanks i remember having needle nose twice he broke both times but i did use him as a good i guy so im glad i was right lol

I think it's just a bad time to try to do this. The figure is great, but $159 isn't a bad price for this, it's just not the price for people right now. I hope they try the kickstarter again when the world isn't "hurting", if it doesn't reach its goal
Will you be getting one?
Yup also will it come with the box
Oh 125%! I missed out on Polluto, I'm NOT missing out on Army Ant.
ye. i like that some of the smalest animales become gigantes

@GeoAldama yes! Box, sticker sheet, Map of Mystery #1 & instruction sheet 🔥🔥🔥
I ordered mine ... Been watching the Kickstarter every day
A $160 is crazy expensive

This guy will probably look really good with one of the military mutants riding him into battle.
🐢🔋💚
Looks awesome will get him 👍
This is super cool. I had the needle nose figure growing up and loved it
Wish I had the 💰 to buy him!!!
Such an amazing piece of toy history coming back to life!
That's the craziest looking thing I've ever seen, it is wild 90s in the best way
🐢🔋🔥
This Is Awesome!
Killer bed was one of my fave toys. Sadly I never got needle nose. This has me excited

Looks fantastic will definitely get one of these 👍
Man ❤ur Saturday uploads, finish work round this time & if hv bad day, ur passion of our carefree 80s 90s youth years brings me back 🎉
I happened to get my hands on the bee and mosquito last month! I have the camo version for my pledge
🐢🔋🔥
I hope this goes so well that they will do another kickstarter for the last mega mutant as well. If I remember correctly it was a horned beetle?
There are some few others! Stay tuned 😉

Pls do a review about the neca tmnt 2012 reveals at NYCC

I saw this and i am definitely getting it
🐢🔋🔥🔥🔥
Must have been a legal nightmare to make this happen.
Maybe not. They're not using “TMNT" nor “Playmates" anywhere in the name, and the character itself doesn't appear to be owned by anyone prior to this.
This is great. I dont have or collect vintage tmnt but this look very cool
Awesome
I just got the first two. Had no idea this was on the way! I may need it!
Something about that hippo speaks to me! What a cool kickstarter
🔥🔥🔥
Fast Forward Starlee, 2012 Kraang Prime, Rise of TMNT turtles tots toddlers, TMNT Back To The Sewers Cyber Figures, and Jim Lee Leo.
I didn't know about this and and thankful you let me know. Recently backed the second wave of 9 to 5 warriors and plan to do the same here. Keep talking about the indies!
Definitely picking up Army ant 🐜 It will go good with my vintage foot soldiers🐜 I'm super hyped🐜🤘
🐢🔋🔥🔥🔥
the hass a new army ants enemy
i never new if the mega mutants were good or evil
Killer Bee was a Villain, Needlenose is a Hero, Army Ant is in the Anti-Hero bracket 🔥🔥🔥
Ant-I-Hero 😜

Love the new characters but that army ant is pricey

Just hoping the antenna and mandibles are more durable than Killer Bee and Antrax
Army Ant will be made at one of the world’s top toy factories to ensure top notch materials and quality 🔥🔥🔥
Is that the same body as niddlenose? I’m still getting it, but I see a resemblance.
Omg now I need the army gorilla from super7, damn you!
I'm debating. I already got a Robo Skull (amazing), 3 Ramen Toys vehicle's and I'm on the fence with the Ecto 1A and the McFarlane Batwing 😭😭😭
It's going to be amazing! 🐢🔋🔥
Dude, it's $160 lolol. This is a huge no from me.
What's with the Walmart ad/link pop-up on your video? It's annoying.
First?
First!
Meh, If he had mordern articulation like neca I’d be all in. Vintage toys with limited articulation hold no appeal for me.
