Thanks for playing! There is an official way to score, blossoms you bloomed plus tiles you have leftover if you've bloomed all eight. I've seen some great scores on BGG of up to 17-18, I've only scored 12 as my best.
Yeah I found it not clear. The game ends when you have blossomed 8 times, however, you run out of tiles before then but that point is made at the end of the scoring section instead of "The game ends when all 8 blossoms have opened or the draw pile is empty" So the highest we've got so far 5 points. I also forgot to point out that the colour choice makes it difficult at times as the two blues and two reds/oranges are very similar, having to line the tile up and get close to see if they actually match :/ Friends still want to keep trying though.
Not every game is for every person. This is a meditative chill game that I love. This year has been high stress so this game is a great way to decompress.
