I got some small samples of Tuscan Leather, Godolphin, and got my nose on Ombre Leather when I first started getting into my fragrance hobby. I never knew how much I loved the fruity leather scent until then! I will definitely check this one out. I love the smell of leather. I ordered a couple of decants and they sent me a sample of this, so I decided to check out any reviews.
I never smelled Ombre Leather. Don't own Tuscan Leather but have tried it at a Tom Ford stall in a perfume shop. Have the Rasasi La Yuqawam. That's more rounded and suede unlike the tannery vibe from rough and tumble Tuscan Leather. Will definitely sample this one. Thanks for your review, Steven!

@@gooddaymate1171I'm assuming these dudes got a free bottle. This fragrance sucks ass. It's bland and all you get is a smoke note mixed with oud. It ends there because the fragrance doesn't last at all

I tested TFOL on my skin and clothes and it was Incredibly awesome long-lasting Fragrance, but to be honest This Rare Carbon by AFNAN has also ABSOLUTELY similar smell for me! i did not believe my smelling sense at the first time trying this Product, It is 1:1 for me, deserve to buy for sure.
My new signature scent. Such a great clean slightly sweet slightly spicy suede. Immediately bought a couple backups for the price. Gives me about 7 hrs longevity with a couple hours of arm's length silage

The way you explain it in comparison reminds me of Oud Saphir from Atlier Cologne. However Oud Saphir has an ever so slightly bitter fruity note. Curious of your thoughts.
I received my bottle of RedBrook and I just have to say it smells absolutely amazing. That opening is incredible.
I got a free sample of this one, the more I wore it the more I liked it. Great price for what you're getting really.
Layers really well too. I've had it for a couple months now and can verify the goodness. Tad more smokey than OL at times, more fruity in the opening, and with a more mass appealing labdanum-ish leather in the drydown. Excellent value.

@@MrZZooh Yes it does. Although the accord holds pretty well for the first hour, it breaks down into its constituent elements rather quick after that. Then, it's no longer a distinct leather, but more of a sweet zingy-fruity smokiness. 8 hours later on clothing, the differences between the two scents become more apparent.
@@justaddlight Thanks. I am not as nasally advanced as you are and am super new to this kinda expensive hobby. I have it and I gotta say it projected better than Ombre Leather. I returned that one to Sephora. But it lasted just about the same, about 5 hours. Same as Tom Ford Ombre Leather. I don't get how people say it lasts over 8 hours. I am yet to see a new frag that actually lasts that long. Today's colognes simply don't seem have as good a longevity as those from not too long ago. Maybe I am wrong. Also I didn't seem to find any batch code on it, which is strange even for a knockoff.

Yes, im a woman and i just got mine. Im 60, so yes you are right, not recommended for youth unless your an old soul. That doesnt mean it smells like a old ladies closet! Lol I love the heavy bottle, smells expensive and just sitting here i smell it changeing. Like Ralph lauren to Gucci lol , in expression of luxury. Yes, i can hear it already, what are you wearing??? @@gooddaymate1171 i dont have the best nose, but for me it stays pretty strong for a long time. There is a bit of fresh and fruitiness along with some sweet and lots of leather. Its not a harsh leather, its a sweet leather, its great!
On me this stuff is amazing. I can easily wear to gym. I am on the very masculine side. I have Toscano Leather and Amber and Leather buy Rare Carbon. Amber and Leather for $20 is great but Rare Carbon is better and smells premier quality
The bottle shown in this video has medium brown juice, but other bottles have cream color ( juice or bottle). Can someone let me know the story on this?
I think it’s called maceration…introducing air into the bottle by spraying. It allows the scent to mature/macerate and thus darken the juice inside bottle.

I own this fragrance. Was definitely worth the blind buy. Shipping was free and fast. I get lots of compliments and it lasts very long. Projects about 8 hours on my clothes.

I have Tom Ford ombré leather and it smell delicious, but I got my hands on rare carbon and it’s soooooo close to ombré. So I think I’ll buy carbon from now on and save the bucks.

Imo, this is no where as smooth or well put together as ombre leather and i have had them both. I gave the rare carbon away and aboslutely love the TF.

Ombre leather is by far my favorite scent I shouldn't have bought any other cologne because it's the only cologne that I truly love.. intoxicating scent.
I spray in my car, my clothes, my jackets. So after watching your review I did a blind by which was a huge mistake. This poison smells like ombre leather only for about 3 seconds and then turns into a can of raid bug spray.. it went in the garbage and it's the last time I buy anything other than the original of anything.. Thanks!!

$220 dropped down to $33.75? That's a huge drop. Not even Creed drops that low in price. Either the retail price is highly over exaggerated or it's a good fragrance, not great.

Love ombre leather, but I think rare carbon in not good at all, smells very cheap
Tom Ford Ombre Leather lasts on the skin for well over 12+ hours on me with only 2 sprays. I'll even wake up in the morning and still smell it. No other perfume has ever lasted as long as this one. Ok this might be a dupe for TF OL but the performance or projection can't touch TM OL.
Have you tried rare carbon? Its beast mode projection/longevity. 1 spray fills my whole bedroom.

No one talks about the oud at the end of this fragrance. When I go to bed at night it's pretty much all oud and when I wake up in the morning the oud is even stronger. I actually enjoy the transition even though it threw me the first time. I couldn't remember what fragrance I had used the previous day that put off this nice oud scent. Maybe it's just the way it reacts on my skin.
