Sweating like a ... pig roasting in a burning house. --Henry George, probably
I also have tried to contact Patrick Boyle about doing a segment on LVT. Haven't seen him release one yet. Probably not surprising since I didn't get a response. 😅
Inflation isn't really a sign of a growing economy. Inflation is a sign that the money remaining in circulation exceeds the amount of stuff we're able to spend that money on.
Love the Wendy's Biggie Bags by the way. Absolute life savers for hungry construction workers finding themselves unprepared for lunch.
All Wealth Comes Out of Land. I like it. 💪🏻
Land and banking industrial complex. 💪🏻
High rent or high taxes -- neither! 💪🏻
LoL, I-Ching and incense. Will predict recessions for food. Are you using subway tokens for your readings? 😂

And about the inflation thing you're right. I just mean to distinguish between a natural kind of inflation like when there's a general rise in prices in an area where business and investment is up so inflation and economic growth are related but we have the artificial inflation created by a central bank's meddling in the money supply in the way you're describing.

@@homelesseconomist LoL. My mom always told me they were subway tokens. China and Hong Kong don't do tokens for the subway anymore (cards instead), so I guess I have no way of verifying unless I had a time machine.

@@homelesseconomist Would investment in an area really cause natural inflation? I would imagine it would cause natural deflation.

I guess the textbook term for what I'm talking about is demand pull inflation as opposed to cost push inflation the former being a natural result of increased demand raising prices and the latter being a result of costs imposed on businesses like taxes and rent seeking
