Peco Large England DCC Fit

DCC fitting a Peco / Kato OO9 Large England - in this instance 'Welsh Pony'
As the DCC fitting of the Small and Large England locos is the same, the process will work for both models and does require desoldering/soldering skills as the DCC decoder is hard-wired into the loco.
I have used a Zimo MX616F decoder as it is small enough to for the space however other decoders may also fit.

Thanks - I hope it helps - much easier to do when you see how easy it is to move the wires and copper strips away from the motor and body giving loads of space to get the soldering iron in without having to worry about it touching something you don't want it to touch
