I grew up in NYC in the early 80s and on almost every street corner there were b-boys with boom boxes dancing to Beastie Boys, Grandmaster Flash, and the Sugar Hill Gang. As a lover of rap, you should react to some of these earlier songs. The “Grandpas/mas” would appreciate it.
