Loved the video. The war in Bosnia Herzegovina in the 90’s was terrible. Here in Canada we do know what happened. 😢
    Until the next time ❤️🇨🇦

Thank you, Herma! It was so sad💔, and I'm glad they taught you that in Canada, our American education, unfortunately, didn't. Thank you for watching ❤️

@@TheSchells , we actually followed it on the news. I don’t know if it’s covered in the school curriculum currently. I’ll check with the grandson who just graduated high school. Hugs

Make sure you try Bosnian coffee with a dessert. Try Tufahija (tufahiya) which is cooked appled stuffed with wallnut paste and cream on top. But get it from a dessert shop.

I was in buregdzinica Bosna in October. Honestly, there are better spots for burek in Sarajevo. Namely, place called "Sac" in Old Town.

The river is mostly clean (not drinkable ofc), but in wheater conditions with heavy rains, the river (Miljacka) becomes brozne, due to it's origin compounds, the clay. In the summer period, mostly dried in the city, with low flows and smelly green things during sunset. Just an FYI :)
