In Chongqing, there are many scenic spots to go to, Jiefangbei Square, Ciqikou Ancient Town, Hongya Cave, Shibati ancient town, go to Liziba station to see the subway through the building, and take a boat at night to see the night scene of Chongqing. You are too cautious, as long as there is no crime such as robbery, you can go anywhere, eat all kinds of food, try to be more relaxed and daring.

It proves that China needs ginormous railway stations to cope with the enormous number of people daily, let alone during holidays. There are also limited “standing tickets” on some Chinese trains, which is not true for your train. Chinese normally do not drink tea with added sugar. The high-speed train is also very quiet just like the EVs you observed previously on the streets of Chengdu. Due to its mountainous terrain, it is also difficult to use Google Maps or some similar Chinese apps in Chongqing. BTW, the top class or luxury class is the business class, which is one class higher than the first class on the Chinese high-speed trains. But the first class seems comfortable enough. As to straight-lining the railroad, nowadays China can use home-produced tunnel boring machines (TBMs) to dig tunnels at relatively lower costs.

First, love your videos! Here is a little info that I learned about high speed rail: one of the reasons why HSR is very expensive is that the slope of the railway has to be less than 3/1000. Therefore there are many tunnels along your ride between those two cities in the mountainous area.

For all the foreign friends, if you're going to travel in China for a long time. I would recommend you to purchase a physical t-union transportation card from the counter, for around 20 rmb. then You can use it all over China for metro and public bus. you only need to top it up from time to time from the machine or counter. If you have smart phone or band with nfc, Even better, you can purchase a NFC T-union card, and use your phone or band. make sure you purchase the card with t-union sign on it, otherwise you can only use the card locally.

The speed of the train is different based on different terrain. If you travel in northern China where there are mostly plains, the speed is indeed 350 for the whole journey. But in southern China where there tends to be mountainous, the train will reduce speed according to the terrain. Also the speed depends on which type of train you are on. If your train number starts with a G, this is the 350 km/h train. If your train number starts with a D, it will go up to only 200km/h.

At least if you have a crash with this train, you won't feel much. I'd probably be nervous for the first half hour. Not only the train itself is amazing, but think about how hard it is to make the rails that levelled everywhere to not feel bumpy. I was amazed how Russia came out like a Phoenix for the last 20 years, but look at China - Wow! And how cool it would be to go and visit real rural chinese villages, where they live like they did for centuries. That old chinese flair you normaly only get in historical movies. And how cool it would be to speak mandarin with the people there, getting some ancient farmers wisdom on the way.
