I am so happy you are doing these. I was cleaning out my craft room and found my pink Heidi Swapp one and would love to do some Rolodex cards for them. Now I can do one or two with you every week. Getting crafts done. Yeah!
How gorgeous! I love watching you do mixed media! It really inspires me to do a little bit here and there! It’s still intimidating for me right now but I just LOVE the end results!!! I think is going to be such a fun series! I can’t wait to see the next one! Your Rolodex is going to be stunning when it’s all complete!!! 🥰
Omg love this idea I am going to join in & do this every week as part of my therapy to help my soul come alive again thanks for all you do in the creative world I don't think you realise how many of us you help. Your am Art Angel 👼🎨🥰💜🙏😘✌️
I am so so happy you're doing a rolodex video. I have a pink memory dex which is a rolodex. I needed some inspiration. I'm looking forward to more videos just like this. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤️
That was great fun Andrea! Funnily enough I have had the same Rolodex sitting on a shelf too so you’ve given me the impetus to do something with it! Thankyou! 😊❤️🇦🇺xxx
Yay!!! Thanks so much for this new series! I bought a Rolodex a couple of years ago for this same reason, and have never started mine! Now I have a good reason to begin mine!! Thank you!!!
How exciting to have you start this series. I did a few "faithDex" cards last year. And then just stopped. I have an old Heidi Swapp box I bought on clearance many years ago and never used it. So it needs to be pulled out and used. You can also make your own fauxDex boxes. There are many RUclips videos. Many of them use paper straws for the guides. I think it would be fun to make one and decorate it ArtyMazy style. Every time I watch you create something from nothing I am always, always AMAZED. You have such amazing creative talent and I'm incredibly grateful that you share it with us. And I'm with you on journaling and reading. I much prefer creating to doing those things. So glad I'm not alone.
I am excited about this series! I have several collecting dust on my counter too. I think I will make them and store them on the holder to be pulled and used in journals as needed! Super fun!
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!! I have a Faith Dex for Bible study, but I really have not gotten it figured out well..so I appreciate your ideas for back grounds and your tips!! Thanks!!
Great idea. I’m excited. Since we can go to thrift stores again, I hope to find one as this is such a great idea, and I love the idea that of numbered and dated, I will be able to see if I improve or not over the course of time completing it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Hi Andrea: So enjoyed this video. I’ve never seen a Rolodex card look so good! Love the way you start out with small splats of color and end up with little masterpieces. Really beautiful. Looking forward to seeing you do more. Thank you. 💜😎
These are lovely! My hubby retired a few years ago and he has a Rolodex he used for years. He said I could have it. I never thought I'd have a reason to use it, but I'm going to look into it when I get back to Michigan! I'm glad he's a pack rat! LOL! TFS🤗
I just found one at a thrift shop for fifty cents with cards. And I found a bigger one at a library book sale for free, but for that one I will be making my own cards.
OMG! I have been holding onto my old Rolodex for just the right project I guess, LOL! I love what you did and I'm all in for the dangles on the tabs. AWESOME! TFS!
I simply adore this!! I have a Rolodex too but mine is the flat kind of the cards lay on top of I like yours much better. Especially since mine is in boxes packed away for my move And they do so paint for plastic we had to redo a plastic rocking horse one time and they sell paint a specially for it. 🥰🐞🤗
Watching replays as I got Rolodex box not same as rolling one you got so needed ideas on how to start my bits of art can’t paint or draw so let’s see so much fun
Lovely card. Omgoodness thats so pretty. I bought a memory dex die for my big shot. Now I cannot find a roladex , ugh 😑. But I'm going to do this with you. See you soon. Sending love and hugs Sherry 🧡🧡🧡✌✌
I had a ball doing my first Eve Rolodex card. I don’t know where I’ll put them, but I know I’ll learn loads from you. Thank you for bringing us along with you.
On the back of all my scrapbook pages I’ve always signed my name, dated the day(or days) the page was made & wrote ‘made in..’ - such as ‘made at home Conway Ar.’ Sometimes I’ll be going through my pages and I’m like, "whoa! When did I make this?!" Nice to have this info on the back.
Ohhh - what a fun project Andrea!!! I love your first card!!! I happen to have the twin to your Rolodex lol. I’ve been wanting to do a creative project with it for a while now. Maybe your series will prompt me lol. TFS!!! Hugs, Sharon 🌷💜
Love this idea! I don't write in a journal either, I find it stressful. I do like that this is small, not a huge time investment to get creative and have a go at playing. I have several art journal books that I start then forget it mixed in with the other books on a shelf, this is a great way to display and see what you have done. TFS
I have one of these rolodex thingies that I bought at a thrift, I was using it when I was doing my mixed media and only had a little time. I am so glad you have inspired me to get back at it because I do miss playing with the mixed media too. I also made a little 3x4 book with rings and alternate between the two. I does make a great little display piece and can also help provide some extra inspiration when we flip through it Thanks a Bunch Hugs and Smiles
Always love your creations! I had to laugh when you said that reading irritates you, because that's the PERFECT word!! I used to read about 3 or 4 books a week, and now they all just irritate me!! I guess I won't go into WHY, but some of you can just "read between the lines," lol. Thank you for sharing your wonderful art! :)
I like the project. I have some new spray inks and I need to learn how to use them. I will have to use the ring method as I do not have a Rolodex. Maybe it will get my grandchildren interested in mix media as well. Great idea Andrea. Oh and I love the sounds outside of your craft space. So peaceful.
So pleased to see you doing this. I bought a Rolodex at the Thrift store and was just waiting for inspiration! Looking forward to this series and trying some new things. Hugs and blessings, :)
I love doing the ICAD (index card a day) challenge each year and this will be just like that..... great fun, Andrea. I’ll be following along & pick up this years ICAD along the way. I’ll be awash with altered index cards by the end of the year...lol. Hugs C xx
I love the idea of doing the small art. I will be using some index cards. I was wishing I had gotten in on one of the challanges and if I do it along with you it is sort of the same thing. Anyway, great fun. Thank you!
1000 times better than that plastic card. Loving this idea.
Brilliant idea something beautiful from nothing thank you for sharing.

Love this project!
I am so happy you are doing these. I was cleaning out my craft room and found my pink Heidi Swapp one and would love to do some Rolodex cards for them. Now I can do one or two with you every week. Getting crafts done. Yeah!
That is so funny! I don't want to read & write anymore either! I 😄
I like your mixed media style and colors....😻
How gorgeous! I love watching you do mixed media! It really inspires me to do a little bit here and there! It’s still intimidating for me right now but I just LOVE the end results!!! So glad your doing this. I got the exact Rolodex for a Christmas gift 2 yrs ago. It’s collecting dust and now you’ve motivated me. So thank you!
I like it. Great idea and nice and quick.

I made my own alcohol ink sprays from isopropyl alcohol and sharpies. They work great. I put some perfect pearls in a few for a shimmer.
I just found one at a thrift shop for fifty cents with cards. And I found a bigger one at a library book sale for free, but for that one I will be making my own cards.
